That BR needs to replace Borini or Lambert
Quality signing sure to transform Liverpool's fortunes
Do you think with the players signed that BR thinks he's still at Swansea?

I don't think it's a bad signing. He'll be cheap for a start. A tribunal will decide his transfer fee and I can't imagine it will be that much.
If he doesn't cut the mustard then Pool will just move him on at no loss probably.
I think Ings is a solid signing for them and the type of signing SAF would have made when we had a strong first XI. The problem for Liverpool is that they both need to flesh out their squad and improve their first XI which does take time.
From what I have seen though Ings will offer great energy and is a decent finisher. Don't think they can go wrong here to be fair.
We need to get rid of some though
We've probably just agreed to more than triple his salary. What happens when Fabio refuses to move again, Mario sticks around because no one wants him and we don't move Ricky on. We'll literally be spending £300K plus a week on strikers that aren't much Kop

I don't go near Twitter thank you
Suddenly we've got 5 strikers. The only trouble is that the one we really need can't stay fit
The other 4 we'd be lucky if they score 10 goals between them. It's like BR is trying to damage us further before he goes
I don't understand people not being happy with Ings. We've played without a striker for 90% of the season because Sturridge had been out and nobody else is good enough. We needed a fresh set of options this summer and Ings is a great start. I'm positive he won't be the only striker signing we make this summer because Borini and Lambert will be out the door.
We signed him for his potential sell-on value. He'll hardly have the top four quaking in their boots.
This has Steve Sidwell to Chelsea written all over it

To be fair they could come up with a cure for cancer and you'd moan about it.
We've already tried to get rid of Borini. He's got to agree to go!
He will literally have cost us what £15 million a goal with his wages!
This is the type of player BR signs
What next to inspire optimism for the new season? A new 5 year mega deal for Joe Allen!
Ings can be anything from the next Danny Graham to Stephen Fletcher
I am really pleased with the signing of Ings. He is exactly the sort of player we needed in 2014/15, he is quick, strong and a good finisher. Im very confident he will surprise a few of you.
Maybe if he was signed from Santos and played for Brazil Under 21s you would all be a little more enthusiastic about him.
We are gradually being transformed into the next Aston Villa. After all the boasts by FSG that they would compete with the best for new signings, they are not even bothering to keep up the front. Trippier next I believe.
Not good enough for the fans of Liverpool. Owners and manager out thanks.

Have you been watching Harry Kane videos?
Have they come out and said Ings is our big name signing?
Come on guys, he is an improvement on ALL our strikers (Sturridge injured most season).

Its only 4 letters long. Who else are you signing, Demba Ba?
Stupid thing is he is now the best option we have up front and we're paying peanuts for him.
This board is absolutely toxic with people like ARE on it. The 'sing when we're winning' crew.

It more toxic to have fans accepting failure that being angry when we are mince.
Seriously look at the signings so far what does it tell you? I'd be interested to know.

I didnt know if this was a joke or not?
2014/15 - Ings 37 app - 11 goals
2013/14 - Lambert - 39 app - 14 goals
2012/13 - Le Fondre 37 app - 14 goals
2011/12 - Graham - 39 app - 14 goals
We basically signed this season Le Fondre/Danny Graham
Dont think it works like that, Kash. We could all find some stats that are similar to his.

Inge has just scored 11 in the premier league playing for Burnley, surely he'll score more for Liverpool given a chance. He'll offer more pace and work rate than Balotelli, Borini and Lambert put together and he's costing around £4m-£5m.
