It is rather exciting, isn't it?
Not really the signings being made needed to be made
We have Gerrard, Jones, Johnson and probably Sterling leaving the club so we need some new arrivals.
---
So far Milner, Firmino and Clyne tick all the boxes for me. Plus Ings who might develop and Bogdan who is adequate back up to Mig.
We probably need a couple more rather than less.
Terminator
It may be exciting for you but do you think it's good for your club?
Don't care about the volume as long as the ones coming in are better than what's already at the club.
Are all goners this boring?
So Agger,
LFC have already bought 5 players, do you not think trying to intergrate all these new players had a part in what happened to your team last year, coming 6th?
Aww bless, he's really trying hard here

Just another central midfielder and a proven top striker and then we are done for the summer.
5 much needed players to improve the first team.
I'm not getting into a silly argument with you.
I know most Lfc fans can have a adult discussion about football without making petty comments.
You have to take in to context the players coming in.
Milner - quality, expirenced player.
Clyne - quality young player that's better than what we have.
Firmino - as above with clyne.
Bogdan - cover for Mignolet, won't play much.
Ings - young player with potential.
I think our business has been better than last summers and if we get a striker!
Origi also more or less counts as another one to the new volume. If we don't get rid of Balotelli then we might have to send him (Origi) on loan to a PL club.
" do you not think trying to intergrate all these new players had a part in what happened to your team last year, coming 6th?"
no, not really. We dropped down that far solely on Suturridge's injuries. We'd have finished top4 easily had he only been half fit.

No the problem we had was integrating garbage like Lovren, Balotelli and Lambert into the team. More a case of them not being good enough rather than volume of players. They should all be moved on this summer IMO.
Kaiser,
That's a lot of faith to have in one player though, who has injury problems quite often.
Question to the OP. How do you think club should of gone about their business? Bearing in the mind the shambles that was last season.
Milk,
I don't know, i just think bringing in 5 or 6 players a summer is not beneficial for the team in the next season.
Unless they all hit the ground running which hardly ever happens.

.................
Milner isn't, and has never been quality. This is why the media get it so wrong with English players and why we flatter to deceive in major tournaments.
AFC, what hasn't been commented on is the timing of the signings. Last summer, Chelsea were home and hosed virtually on day one, if not before, as to who they wanted and who they got. LFC were playing catch-up, especially with Luis' late departure to Barca, and Brendan trying to find a decent replacement.
Of the signings we made, perhaps only Lovren, who had a dreadful season, and Balo were the failures Ricki hardly got a kick of the ball.
This summer, the club have moved fast and decisively to get the players they want on board. A whole 5-7 week pre-season should hopefully get us in a better position than where we were last summer.

It is, but no team plans with the expectation that your no 1 striker to be out for the season. Even Balo was bought with the intention he would partner Sturridge.
True Jimmy, even with doing the business early though, it still doesn't make them ready for PL kick off but it will obviously help.
Also Chelsea only bought about 2 or 3 players in very early.
