Sterling
Fair enough bud.
This is like the third article within a week we've had on our board about this and I don't see why we'd be worried. With Clyne we've signed 6 players and we want another striker so that'll be 7 but that's probably all our signings then done.
Might sound a lot but at least 4 of those signings will be direct replacements for Gerrard, Johnson, Jones and possibly Sterling in Milner, Clyne, Bogdan and Firmino. Then we need more goal scorers hence Ings and another striker and Gomez is bought for the future and will probably be loaned out.
Milner was a useful player for City. If he can do for us what he did for them then I'll be happy.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I think he'll have to probaly do more for LFC than he did at Man C due to being surrounded by less quality players.
Well if he can do for us what he did for Villa I'll be happy.
You have two strikers coming in already and you want a big name striker (which you should of got last summer).
Can you realistically get rid of Balo, Lambo, Borini without giving them away and paying a % of wages in Balo's case?
Just seems like you have got in a bit of a mess upfront and Ings and Origi aren't gonna help matters much.
wouldnt be surprised if origi went on loan

Can't see it being a huge problem really. Borini and Lambert I'm sure will have interest from mid to lower table teams. It's only Balo that we'll have some difficulty getting rid of.
Plus Origi is only 20 and could get loaned out in the prem to help him adjust to the league so worst case scenario would probably be new st, Strurridge, Balo and Ings.
"big name striker (which you should of got last summer)."
we tried 2 summers in a row
they all say no
its not a lack of trying
I know, Kaiser, there isn't many to go around. Arsenal haven't got one, Man U haven't. Spurs have a kid and Chelsea seem to want Falcao. Not great.
If Remy wants regular games then maybe you should try for him again.
Welsh Xavi- makes sense. You don't really wanna go into the new season with 7 or 8 first team strikers.
I think Milner is an astute signing
