Agreed. I've been on both sides and I potentially stand to make more money under the Tories in the next few years as a business owner, but the reason many working class people like them is because they beleive that they will be earning copious amounts of money 'some-day' and the media hypes this up, making you think you're making a saving on the thousands of pounds you never had, and likely never will do.
And if you live 'Paycheck to paychekck' you are working class, I don't care what you say.

I really hope Labour choose someone that is electable. It's quite comical seeing some say they'd rather be in opposition than choose someone that is more center left. That's selfish and reminds me of religious fundamentalism.
If you actually care about society in general from a left wing point of view, then I would think you'd go for an electable candidate.

People like to make out that the tories are good on economic policy and business but it is BS.
We now have unprecedented debt under this tory govt and have been selling public assets for below their market value.
People who know about business and the economy should at least not sell a product below its value.
My bad, they did, who did they sell it to, their mates.

What people need to understand that corporations own our politicians. That is why an Australian has so much influence over British and American policy.
The Oil and Gas industry threatened Osborne and he cowered like a little girl.
The clowns in Labour are the same, all bowing to corporate interests when they are supposed to look after our interests.
Look at how terrified people are of Corbyn who said and I am paraphrasing; "make no mistake, we have to get the deficit down, however, we have to make sure the right people are paying for it."

Used to be a Tory when I was younger but the more mature I became, I realised that there is a lot more to the world than my own selfish greed.
People like to make out that the tories are good on economic policy and business but it is BS.
We now have unprecedented debt under this tory govt and have been selling public assets for below their market value.
People who know about business and the economy should at least not sell a product below its value.
My bad, they did, who did they sell it to, their mates.

No, you're wrong. A decent opposition is fundamental in an adversarial political system - the tories can be in government until the day I die for all I care, dut unless there's a decent opposition it'll be just like the last 20 odd years - same people in government, just a different colour tie.

Exactly, yet JC is criticised for wanting to buy back profitable public infrastructure
In the news atm: Cameron won't serve a 3rd Term - Of course not, time to call in all those favours
