It does grind my gears when i see 'of' being used instead of 'have', i of to say
The two that get on my wick the most are
"You know" and "like" every other word in speech.
Also "loosing" instead of "losing" in written usage.
AAAHH!!!

I like blame Peter Gabriel seen as it would of been literally the most cracking album he done their back in 1987.
Saying 'generally' when they mean 'genuinely'.
It's not even close!!!!!
As for football pundits, when did they all decide that saying 'and what a ball that is by the way' was good punditry?

Anything he says.
You are not a Jamaican gangster, your father was the Bishop of Peterborough ffs.
He is the poster boy for affected dumbing down and a total tool.
Another thing that does my head in is over-exaggerated gesticulation. The worse offenders seem to be BBC reporters and interviewers along with most politicians.

Thank you Ace, was hoping no one would notice.
People who say "I could care less" rather than "I couldn't care less", first off it's an Americanism, secondly it drastically alters the meaning.
I work with this American girl, she gets on my t!ts no end and she always starts a sentence with "I was gona say..." and then proceeds to say it. I've stopped her before when I couldn't take it any more and said "Were you gona say it, or are you actually saying it?!" but she just didn't pick up on it. She does my fackin head in!

Seriously?
This complaint is so-so. I have more of a problem with footballers using the word 'obviously' all the time.
