The arsenal game, we were a different class that day
Spurs 0 - 5 Liverpool at WHL.
That was the moment Rodgers attacking football clicked. I was literally buzzing after that game, and we could look to the rest of the season with genuine hope of a top four finish

BR deserves to be remembered with fondness for the good things he achieved. For a while we were unbelievable. I have never witnessed better football by our side than we played during that season!! And I've been watching since the 80s

Oh yeah that game vs arsenal was awesome
Also that 5 goal game vs spurs was special too
I think it was the City game. At the time, it made us all think we were actually going to win the league.
And then the slip happened
Nevertheless getting smashed at anfield. With the crowd singing he just as skinny Spanish waiter to Roberto martinez. I remember going into the game some were worried about Everton and what Barkley would do. Studge just smashed them to bits.

Most unbelievable was the Arsenal game. That Suarez Volley that hit the post
We just absolutely mullered them in that 20 mins, best football since Rafa's team decked Madrid.
The Spurs 5-0 was epic because it so was surprising. We hadn't been near that level before that game and had a bad record against Spurs.
Man City 3-2 was just so emotional with all the Hillsborough stuff that week, Anfield was incredible (just on TV!) and I was in tears before the game and then the game was fantastic itself.
I think I will always remember those 3 games.
Everton was great but that was after Arsenal and Spurs and I actually fancied us to destroy them as I felt we would let them have the ball and flatten them on the break.
In his first season there were some cracking games 2-2 with city a few times where individual mistakes cost us, even a few we lost where we played extremely well just poor finishing and individual mistakes.

I seem to remember us smashing Swansea 5-0 in his first season (I think Enrique scored) and it was one of the first times we really saw the all out attack approach that BR promised to bring when he joined.
0-3 at Old Trafford for me. Never seen us so dominant in a game there.
Outsider as well was the 6-3 at Cardiff, crazy game in entertainment and SAS were unbelievable.
Definitely that Arsenal game for me. We were devastating in attack and that shot from Suarez was unbelievable.
The North London destruction was very entertaining.
Some Spurs fans on here just haven't got over that. There ongoing obsession with us is more than proof.
The Arsenal game was the highpoint in terms of the football we played. We destroyed them in that game. On here they took it better than the Spurs fans, but that BT advert sent some of them well over the edge.
Our games against City were also a high point. Exciting games with some tremendous attacking football played by both teams.

The spurs 0-5 game for me.I think that was our first real 4th place crunch game of that season:
- A rare clean sheet & they never really looked like scoring.
- All Very good team goals rather than moments of individual magic.
- Yeah they went down to 10 men but we had out worked and out played the 11.
- Flanagans Volley from nowhere .
- Even the forgotten Alberto looked good.

There were a few for me but the gooners getting spanked 5-1 was hilarious as was spuuds getting trounced everytime we played them. When we had Suarez i looked forward to playing anyone knowing he'd cause havoc even on an off day
That 5-1 was humiliating from our point of view. At 4-0 after 15-20 minutes or whatever it was I thought we were looking at a worst result that the 8-2 we suffered.
