As an outsider, I'd say that 3-2 against City was pretty special. Them coming back to 2-2 I expected them to go on and win it, but to win it at such an important time for yourselves was huge.

Not sure it would have, suarez would have still left imo
Impossible to say really.
It certainly would have been much harder for the board to sack him if he was a PL winner.
Suarez would still have left though and we still would have had the issue of replacing him and Sturridge probably being injured.
If we won, Rodgers would have stayed. Momentum and confidence would have been high, and the players, with or without Suarez, would have gone into the next season with belief.
That loss to Chelsea knocked the stuffing out of the team, I don't think we have played the same since that game.
I think in terms of morale the capitulation against Palace was more damaging.
