Love fury, only thing brightening up the division, long may it continue
Fury has woken up the division. Fury wasn't going to watch the fight there and not get in the ring afterwards.
HW is a lot better right now, altho who knows when all these suckers will meet up.

He's a complete idiot.
He'll lose in 2016, pretty much certain one of Wilder, Wlad or Haye will beat him.
Bloody hope so!
He's going on like he's the best champion since the 90's, he needs to be humbled
Unbeaten fighters can sound off all they like until they are knocked off their perch. He woke up the division and will stop both haye and wilder with klitschko getting a bigger lesson next time.

When asked about UAE's bid to host the occasion, Fury told Sky Sports: "I'd have sun-tan lotion on, speedos on, sunglasses in the backpack. That would be one sexy ringwalk. That could be good. I'd like it.
Don't understand all the hate tdirected at Fury? He's gone out to Germany and done what nobody else could do and in comfortable fashion. He's great for the sport and will not toe the line for anyone. Not to mention he is a technically gifted fighter who backs up his claims with his performances in the ring unlike most of these other pretenders.
Bar an arguably over the hill fighter, who has he fought??
I think most of the hate is directed at Fury's comments rather than the man himself. There is a degree of calculation to some of what he says, he knows being a divisive figure will help sells fights and increase his bank balance. I'm not convinced he truely subscribes to every outlandish statement he makes. But in many interviews he comes across as a generally decent bloke.
As a personallity he is both entertaining and annoying. As a fighter, for me personally, he doesn't do it for me but I would give him full credit for beating Wlad.
Having trained alongside a few pro boxers over the years I feel they all worthy of respect, the majority are also worthy of admiration. I don't fully understand the need some people have to hate on something or someone all the time. Boxing appears to attract a lot of this sort of thing for whatever reason.
Haye would ko Fury, not sure about Wilder

That "over the hill” fighter has been the most dominant heavyweight since Tyson, hadn’t lost in ten years and was MASSIVE favourite gong into the fight. That's like saying "Bar beating Mayweather, what has he done". He’s done what nobody else even threatened to in a decade. Fury has exceptional boxing skill and deserves a hell of a lot of credit for what’s he done.

Haye is way too small to cause Fury any problems and will end up eating a jab all night long. Wilder is incredibly crude and again, wouldn’t last in a boxing match with Fury. He has a punches chance but that’s about all.

Yes I get that, I know a lot of it is for the camera's.
Hate is a strong word, I never liked Lady Gaga and her persona was very manufactured..
I'm just not a fan of Fury's persona, thats my opinion... He's got something to be very proud of, but he's far from any supreme great in my mind at this moment in time...
I honestly think he will get found out within the next year, as I agree with you I don't really rate him as someone who will clear the division
I'm all up for being proven wrong though

Couldn’t disagree with any of that.
Fury definitely oversteps the mark on occasion but, like you’ve said, a lot is tongue in cheek. He seems a genuinely decent bloke at heart if you take the time to read and watch the various bits and bobs out there. People are too quick to read fabricated articles and make a judgment based on that alone.
Bottom line is, he has done something that may never be done again in our lifetime and for some reason people are trying to belittle that achievement and make out like it’s not all that.

Yes, of course he deserves credit for that and I for one watched the fight and wanted him to win
As for me the Klitschko brothers helped destroy modern boxing, well the heavyweight division at least...
They hardly reigned in a goldern era IMO and both are very weathered, however you cannot take away fury's achievement, especially being the complete underdog in that fight..
For me though, its all about what happens in the next year or so to decide on how he is acting in the media right now..
The heavyweight division has been wedged open within the past couple of years and there are some hungry talented fighters out there..
Tyson being one of them
