He is as defensively poor as any other decent fullback in this country.But he is by far the best in an attacking sense. People dont realise what it has taken for him to displace Debuchy from the team.It was no mean feat as Debuchy is a good player.
Being a good attacking fullback is not about bombing down the wing and pumping crosses. Its about taking up positions that opull a defence out of shape and having the intelligence to provide good passes.
I actually think him and Sanchez on the right is the beginning of a very good partnership.
A lot of people forget that the success of Cashley as a left back at Arsenal was also down to his understanding with Pires.
Next season we might see those 2 guys destroy teams.

must be aged 23 and under before the start of the season.
If you watch the games you will know that overall Lukaku has been a better player than Kane who has only started playing well in the last 6 games.
But like I said any foreigner young player needs to be exceptional to win the award.
