Stop kidding yourselves. None of the current U21s will play a major part next season. Anyone anywhere near has already been stripped out of the U21 squad.
I think Hunte and Bright may have a chance, but they will proabably be sent out on loan first.
die on the arses, get released and come back to haunt us
That's what they said about Graham.
Good enough you are old enough and I believe we have some quality on the rise such as Ronan.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
And who is in a better place to judge whether they are good enough yet? You that has never seen them once or the guys that watch them train and play day in and day out?
Honestly, I wouldn't trust Kenny to look after my cat!!!
All he had to do in pre season was give Graham some game time given he had shown he was on fire and we wouldn't have seen half of this mess.
Changing everything for the loss of one player when we had a guy ready made for the position is about as stupid as it gets.
Have any of you budding Alex Furguson's actually seen any of these youngsters play ? ......I mean actually seen them play ?!?
yes i have halfwit
in my experience you can damage the better young prospects by not giving them an early chance
the run of the mill prospects you can knock back but theres plenty of those so who cares
Why is it we have to see every player to have an opinion on him?
We know who the better prospects are, they are featuring for their youth sides at international level and are touted highly by the scouts and some(Ennis) are being courted by the big clubs.
At least they had enough about them to come back from behind last night albeit against the mighty Dons !!! but I'm not getting carried away just yet.
Why is it we have to see every player to have an opinion on him?
I sometimes wish I was naïve enough to form opinions on what other people think or what I read in the papers or online. Sadly I restrict myself to forming opinions on what I see with my own eyes. That means there are many players I don't have opinions about, but it does mean when
I do form an opinion it is more often right
So we should basically ignore all the professionals until we ourselves see a player?
Strange idea.
Personally I have no idea who will make it and who won't, but would rather the highly rated ones were given a chance with us rather than shipped off on loan as that doesn't seem to have worked well so far for most of them or even any of them.
Makes little sense to assume Ronan and Ennis are crap until I have seen them.
Would rather assume they are getting hype for a reason.

Ikeme, Iorfa, Doherty, Batth, Hause, EEL, Price, Saville, Graham etc have all been out on loan.
They have all come back better players and been able to affect the first team. Please explain why it is not working.
Ikeme, Batth, Henry, Saville, Dicko, Afobe, McDonald, Wallace, Coady, Iorfa, Price, EEL, Graham & Hause have all had loan spells in their early careers. There are probably others in the current squad I've omitted.
No wonder we are where we are if it did all of them such harm.
As usual you totally miss the point of the comment Cinci. I am not saying someone is good or crap or anything until I have seen them. I am saying I don't have any opinion until I have seen them.
And I am saying that's my approach, if other people want to take a different approach that's fine. But I could draw up a list of hundreds of players over the years where the vibes were good but the reality wasn't. My choice is to form my own opinion rather than take the opinion of others
Half of those went out for a handful of games, you don't believe it only takes five games elsewhere to make a player do you?
Some have injuries so get match fit elsewhere, that makes sense.
I don't have an opinion either DJ, but I do pay attention to what they are doing, Graham was the player of the summer tournament, played well in his friendly sniff and was on fire for the under 21s.
Meanwhile eno flew under the radar but h s dropped into the side at 17 whilst Graham was not given a chance despite us having nobody ready to play his position.
That makes no sense whatsoever.
I think the loan system is a really good way of bridging the gap between the academy and the first team and a way of giving people not in the first team some competitive action to make them match sharp.
Looking back into the old days, if you look at when Wolves were winning trophies, they were generally winning the reserve league as well. A sign even then that it's squads not teams that are successful. Sadly reserve teams are no more and loans are the best way of getting people ready
Your view on Graham only makes no sense if you form an opinion on a player you haven't seen. I had no opinion on him till I saw him. I have no idea whether he was ready in August but I do know the player said his loan helped him
To think five games shaped grahams career makes no sense.
Did it help, probably. Would he have failed without those five or six games, of course not.
As I said above, Kenny had no problem throwing eno in the deep end but ignored Graham in a position we were short on, there is no way to defend that decision, it was ridiculous not to give graham a good amount of time in the pre season friendlies.
Far better that than tearing everything up and starting again.
when you say you can only form an opinion when you've seen a player do you mean on TV or in the flesh ,?
Listening to the WM phone in on the way home last night and someone who does watch the U21s regularly was on saying that the only one anywhere near is Eno and we all know why he fell out of contention - he may be ready physically but he is a long way off mentally.
