as a kid i can just remember the great 61 title winning spurs team losing a very rare game to west brom at home 1-2 in that season..dont want to put a damper on proceedings..

Spurs have only beat WBA once in their last 5 meetings at WHL.

I can see the Baggies parking an 11 man bus just to frustrate Spurs and then maybe nicking it at the death.

I was at that game, it was the week before the cup final with the title already wrapped up by 10 points, the only annoying thing about that game it would have enabled Spurs to have beaten at the time Arsenal`s record points total for the 1st Division of 66 points.

ok yes your right..that tottenham team is still the best side ive ever seen.....in england or europe..they just thrashed sides home and away...they should have won the european cup and were cheated out of it..my dad used to go to dave mackays tie shop..and i used to look at dave in awe...what a player..



Spurs were probably cheated out of the semi with Benfica, with the three disallowed goals, but they were two epics games against a very fine Benfica side with Eusabio at his peak.


Dave Mackay`s shop in Enfield still has his name over the shop front, although long since stopped being a shop selling ties.

... i do remember those players..my dad though was a big tottenham fan and as a kid always took me to tottenham.......always lost me in the ground ..the crowds were 60000 every home game... and the queue for white hart lane station started at the ground after the game..it was bedlam...the only trouble i remember were from everton fans fighting at the station and chucking a dart at bill brown........

Sorry mate if you think I am going to watch Spurs play all season with my mouth firmly shut in case I upset my own supporters or the opposition supporters, then you have another think coming. What is the actual point of supporting your club if you are frightened to say anything until the season ends. Pointless may as well not bother. Supporters that sit on the fence are not my cup of team, sorry mate. Easiest thing in the world to give an opinion after the event, fecking boring though.

We win tonight, Leicester get beat on Sunday by United, and then it's up to us against Chel$ea, and we win that , the gap will be 2 points with 10000+ goal diff.
