Seriously, there will be carnage in Lille because they simply are not prepared - like in England, all the police resources are concentrated in the capital city in preparation not for football related violence, but terrorism.

I certainly won't be russian to watch this one.

We're going to speak to the local officials today and gather where we are sat but it is a major concern considering everyone on here and on the news is saying to stay out of Lille

There is only one way to find out if its safe and that is to go. But if you do there are a number of possible outcomes that I can think of. Heres a few.....

The Russians admire the bravery of any English fans in their ranks (as long as youre not causing trouble) and give you a hearty pat on the back.

They give you grief the whole game and you crap yourselves, quite possibly literally.

You are carried out on a stretcher, but its very unlikely you'd be dead..

Its up to you if you think its worth the risk.

Ask UEFA for a full refund. They cannot guarantee your safety. With the killing of a top police officer yesterday, I can only see a lack of resources to protect football fans, especially English football fans.
