a much better option than Clyne.

Nope
He's still flawed, if he could get some technical ability he'd be a very good RB. I never had a massive problem with him, he's a fantastic athlete and that for me always gives him something needed for a modern full back, but for all his energy and positive running too often, especially in second half which I found particularly frustrating, he'd run into blind alleys when Sturridge pulled into space he'd made inside. If he didn't do that he'd get to the part of his game very weak for a full back of his stature - crossing.
Sent deep crosses when it should've been near post, didn't cross at all when everyone was in box, and if he did cross it'd often just be completely over hit. These parts of his game limit him. He did have a good first half but second half onwards I thought he was pretty poor.
He's Dani Alves without the intelligence and skill.
Don't get me wrong though, he's done well these two games and warrants his place in the side.
Here we go... Liverpool fans say CLyne and Spurs fans say Walker.
However I think even Liverpool fans must admit how good Walker has been!?
Most neutrals recognising Walker being our best player in the tournament so far and every pundit saying how good he is...some even saying best RB in the euros. Surely even the Liverpool fans can't be that biased.....

So you would start Clyne over Walker?
No i'd pick Walker as he's played well.
Think their both very good right backs.
Would be a little nervous about Walker when we're playing a team like France or Germany though.
Attack - Walker
Defend - Clyne
Walker is streets ahead of Clyne

This. If he had a bit more between the ears he'd be brilliant. But I would definitely have him in over Clyne right now.
He did ok yesterday, kept slowing the play down though which I found a bit frustrating. Every time he got the ball wide, he'd stop, shimmy, go back or go outside. I was willing him to go inside (as the defender was leaving the space) or just clip the ball into the box

Didn't Walker play in the win v Germany?
I know what you mean though... He is an intelligent player but his problem is he has concentration lapses and facks up.
Walker is just another pace merchant. Bombs down the flank, beats the full back and then almost invariably either over runs the ball, dawdles on the ball for too long and gets dispossessed or balloons it out of play because he can't shoot or cross to save his life. Add him to the list of English players with very little compsure in the final third
He did really well yesterday. Defensively sound and always a threat form the right. If he could improve his delivery he'd be a very good player to have, hopefully that will come.
People say he relies on pace, well so he should. Pace is vitally important in this sport and whilst it's all well and good being technically sound, having a physical advantage always helps.
Walker and Rose were our outlets yesterday. With Wales so narrow and no real width they gave us what we needed. I felt Rose was very wasteful with the ball, both could improve their crosses, but tactically they were very important.
Walker is England`s best full back, no question.

Walker is vastly superior to Shaw going forward. He can beat players, has some trickery, shaw can really do either. That said, a fit Shaw would be a boon for our defence.
If we were to come up against Portugal, I would feel immeasurably more comfortable with clyne in there vs ronaldo.
Having said that, walker has been good in these two games. I'm still not sold on him particularly defensively. He's had very little to do in our third of the pitch so far. Wouldn't be surprised to see clyne at all if we get a tie where we will have to defend.
I was really impressed with Walker's game against Russia. I felt the way he played against Wales, although good, lacked variety. After the first fifteen minutes of watching him play I could predict what he was going to do. He never once tried to either cross the ball first time with his right foot or try and bring the ball onto his left foot and cross it into the box. Very frustrating. If there is any excuse for the lack of variety in his performance it can only be that Woy instructed him to play that way.
I still don't rate Kyle walker and I'm a spurs fan. Yes his pace is fantastic but nearly every time he gets to the opposition box to cross it, he slows down and dithers what to do. This slows the play down and opposition end up getting back. His crossing is still woeful and he cant cross a ball if he tried. Never really been a fan of him but I can admit he has had a decent start to the euros and also had a decent season with spurs. I just don't particularly rate him and feel he is a disaster waiting to happen. I just never feel
Comfortable when he's on the ball and I don't think he does either.

Nah Clyne did I believe.
Think if he improved his end product and played for a team that could disregard defence to some degree he could end up world class.

Dunno, Shaw was brilliant this season before his injury. He was putting in some real top deliveries, which Walker seems to lack.
My comment was tongue in cheek anyway. One player is at his peak, the other recovering from a broken leg in his second season of first team football.
