It seems like other Scottish clubs would rather succeed by seeing Celtic and Rangers fail than by trying to improve themselves; although I do not know how representative your opinion is Ivan of fans of the likes of Aberdeen and Hearts etc.

Henrik - what possible reason would I want to see Celtic gain an additional £25m?
I personally detest what European football has become. That's a personal view. I don't care for it and it is not something I give much thought to.
All I care about is my team and seeing my team have success. Celtic getting an additional £25m does not help that.
But United qualifying for the Europa League regularly doesn't necessarily mean Celtic (or Rangers) qualifying for the Champions League. Just as years of Celtic qualifying for the Champions League didn't see Aberdeen, Hearts etc helped by the greater co-efficient at the time.
I understand your reasoning though, and don't see you changing your mind. I just find it quite depressing in a way.
Yes it does.
It would mean extra coefficient points, thus putting our champions straight into the CL group stage. This would then give Celtic (or Celtic and Rangers) continually being given significant sums of money that make it even more difficult for teams like mine to compete for trophies.
Finishing third each year and not winning any silverware isn't success. Certainly not the kind I'd want.
I see someone must have signed out and then back in to read my comment about distribution of money.
Posted elsewhere, but for reference.
This seems to be the relevant part.
"The amount of €482.9m will be distributed according to the proportional value of each TV market represented by the clubs taking part in the UEFA Champions League (group stage onwards) and be split among the clubs participating from a given association.
In accordance with the existing system, half of the amount representing the value of each market will be split among the clubs based on their performance in the previous domestic league championship "

Henrik
Malmo and Maribor IS our level
The level of making the Champs League play offs and sometimes getting through.
Like it or not that is where we are.
Hopefully over time Rodgers changes that for the better
All I care about is my team and seeing my team have success
