How did Italy get the penalty there when their player on the floor batted the ball away?
Exactly it's not hard to play against it's just eng were thrown off 1st half
Exactly, you can play the ball on the floor if isn't a ruck, which the referee said it clearly wasn't.
The guy doesn't have a flucking clue.
But it was a ruck lol there was a Italy player trying to get the ball with his foot
How many players does it take to make a ruck?
(its a genuine question but as it sounds like a joke punchlines also welcome)

Ok, order is being restored, but it was a joy to watch England being totally befuddled by the Italian tactic in the first half. Proves there's no thought there, nobody to sort out out. They had to wait to get their orders from the boss at half time.

Not really, just a few on here as befuddled as the England players in the interpretation of the laws. I'm no great fan of M. Toite but he's done a good job here.

Wales and Ireland have both managed to beat Italy in Rome. England in danger here of not beating them at home.
Missed conversion so England still ahead by 2
Awful game this, absolutely no fluency, so many stoppages
