There have been leaks of the talk between junker and may and one of the leaks says may told him that there would be no divorce bill and there's no legal reason why we should pay it.

So true. We have over paid them lot for 43 years. They now see a massive gap of lost funds and they are trying to find a way to fill it for a number of years.

Funny how juncker called merkel about the talk. cause it's Germany that fecking run the show.

Germany are fecked off by the decision and are now looking to punish us before they start footing the bill. They thought we would be weak and just agree to everything. Well think again. We do not have to and we should not and will not pay that bill. At least not at the ridiculous levels they have put it at.

I predict talks to breakdown early after what I've read and so be it. German companies already putting merkel under pressure to give us a good deal. So she can risk their wrath , we will go global.

May is a god awful 'strong leader'. That's all she can feckin say when asked questions

posted on 1/5/17

May is a very strong leader. Someone who you clearly don't mess with and the EU bum boys are about to find that out

Now imagine if Cameron was Doing these negotiations. He would bend over for every single thing

May will tell them what they need to hear whether they like it or not and that is what good leaders do

May a strong leader

Thats all I'm gonna read and not take place in this debate!

Labour and Conservatives have had the weakest candidates in years and years, and you are complete sheep if you want to defend them

Yeh May is very very good to be fair

You loony lefties think sucking the EUs c.o.(.k is being strong

No being strOng is having the ability to say no when it is difficult. It is not being pushover. It is also compromising with the other leaders but also not giving everything away.

Everything that may does and more, the EU will soon know that May is not a pushover and will soon realise her threats of leaving without a deal is very real.

Do you really think a scouser would like May

posted on 1/5/17

Nope

People just hate the Tories because they are trying to bring our welfare state down to a reasonable level rather than the out of control levels we have now. All due to scroungers taking advantage

I've never been that bothered about the welfare state, due to the fact tax dodging big companies should be made to pay their share. Per their revenue they pay less tax than the average working person.

However what worries me most is our social services: education, NHS, etc. They just can't sustain the levels of immigration present atm and hopefully leaving the EU will help us with that.

What incentive is it for the big companies to pay tax when its given to people on benefits.

Some people need it but not to the extent we have it now. The only reason it hasnt been touched before is cause it isnt a popular party. If i was a leader id resign myself to one term in government in order to reduce it massively
