How much of the £60m for Martial (the next Henry ) will they want to recoup?
Jose doesnt do recouping and we need to work the market.
Would love Spurs to go in for him, just the player we need that could compliment HK.
Also Jose doesnt mind selling to rivals.

West Brom?
Mourinho's handling of him is hard to understand. I assumed the second half against Wigan was good enough for him to start vs Hull. Especially when he was more or less promised exactly that.
He would be a top player at Liverpool under Klopp
No chance. Liverpool and Man Utd never negotiate.

Liverpool and Jose can negotiate though.
Out of your price bracket lads, I'm sure Saints have someone available in the £20m region
When it comes to sales, Jose doesnt have the best track record of getting the best price.
If he feels he doesnt need a player, he'll sell them for a reduced price.
Plus Martial is very talented.
Liverpool are more likely to sign Nathan Redmond
Martial to Chelsea can happen though.

didn't he get about 30m for Lukaku and 30m for an at the time unproven KDB? pretty sure he also sold Luiz for 50m?
I'd pay 40m for Martial. The question is whether Mourinho would accept it. He knows it would be dangerous to sell to Liverpool.
I'd test the waters with an intial £30m
Also if we sell Sturridge, we have to dip into the market for a striker.
...
Shane Long, let's be honest.
I'd rather Long than Martial.

pfft, martial scored more goals last season, in his first PL season at the age of 19, than long has ever managed. his goalscoring record, which is c. 1 in 3, is about as good as you can get from the wings (sanchez is the standout exception, but 1 in 3 is hazard/mane/walcott levels, and well ahead of sterling/lamela levels).
but yeah, most top pundits would agree that long is better.
I know Martial is better, I'd prefer Long if it was a choice but I'm biased as I said, also Martial would cost 40 mil plus and I think there are better players for that price.
Also Long would suit us better as a number 9 than Martial, he'd press better, run the channels more etc. Martial isn't what we need in a number 9.
