can't sack him though can ya
Given the continued performance level, anyone else would have been fired by now.

And herein lies the problem. He's untouchable at the club and has the backing of Rudkin who has the ear of the owners. Owners that have the best interests of the club at heart but are killing it right now
Personally, that starting line up should have been good enough.
I'd sack all of the players personally. Disgusting performance again.
When we conceded the first, we'd lost

The players might be dreadful but they have no belief, no confidence in themselves. That's very different to not putting in a shift or not caring. I think Vardy isn't working hard but there is ALOT more wrong at this club
If the press reports are to be believed, we have a massive insurmountable problem without staff change
You should have sold Vardy to Arsenal when you had the chance
Stick yer fecking one star up yer jacksey, this threads about Leicester fans caring for the club
I wonder if the chairman will have sat and watched that and realised the time is up for Ranieri?
That was the only realistic chance of an away win, with our fixture list you have to say we look doomed.
Still, I wonder if in the long run that isn't the best solution, clear the deadwood out completely and go again, if we just survive we'll continue to paper over the cracks!
I agree now afv - today is the final straw for me. When you're getting comprehensively outplayed by your relegation rivals there is really no hope.
Sad though it is to say, our only hope of survival now is for Ranieri to go. I would have rather Swansea had put five or six past us if it ensured his immediate departure to be brutally honest.
He will rightly go down as a legend and our greatest ever manager, but the owners can't afford to just stand by and watch us go down. I would rate our chances of staying up under Claudio at 0% personally and it's clear the players don't want to play for him.
There are experienced figures available with knowledge of this league - we could do worse than someone like Alan Pardew on a short-term contract.
Alternatively Gary Rowett is an excellent young manager who was very harshly treated by Birmingham and could well be worth a punt to inject a bit of fight into the team.
It's Not the manager most of us would of picked that team today theres lack of confidence and slow centre halfs and a usless keeper. Drinkwaters on another planet and Marhez is not interested.
The new lads are our only hope. The players are letting down themselves and us
Do you think we would be worse than this under Pardew BS? Because I don't.
He wouldn't be a permanent solution but frankly for the remaining 13 games he'd be better than what we've got...

Of course it's the bloody Manager, he's seeped everything out of them all season like a bloomin leech.
yous are going down
only 2nd after top flight team to win league and them get relegated in successive seasons
I've not been an advocate of sacking CR and don't think they will at least he will be given the two last 16 games in the CL.
However, something needs to change. This has been mentioned on here before, but what the hell is the plan?
If it is soak up some pressure then lump it up in the air to no one in particular then the players are doing it to the letter.
It did look a little better with Slimani on, at least we had a target to aim at rather than aimless balls.
Nev - There is an extent to which I agree in that the tactics and line-up looked pretty much fine today so what else is Ranieri to do? However, the team needs an injection of energy from somewhere; we were all hoping that the recent statement from the owners and a midweek win against Derby might help the players to find that energy themselves, to come together as a group. But today there were only signs of things getting worse. There was no trust out there today, in themselves, in each other or in what they were doing. A new regime, a new message and new ideas could give the players something to hang their collective hat on.
Granted things shouldn't be that way in a perfect world but there we have it.
I guess what I'm saying is: Just because it's not all his fault doesn't mean that replacing him isn't the solution.
I said before the game that this was Morgan, Huth and Fuchs final chance and if they didn't perform today then Ranieri will have to change them, so I will reserve judgement until the next line up and if they are still in the team then I will start to blame Ranieri.
Still need Vardy on the bench and Slimani in the team as that is and will remain our only viable goal source.

They've been in the team near enough all season as have most players in the 'chosen elite' so they MUST have been satisfying the Manager, who's to blame for where we are?
I think we would play better with Ron in goal its not going to happen if we get rid now whos going to make the difference now?
The manager and the players got us into this mess and they have to get us out of it.
Nev, it doesn't matter who plays right now. The problem is not with any number of individuals; it's the whole squad.
(Although Schmeichel was rubbish today.)

None of this is Schmeichel's fault. Zieler has looked decidedly average and hesitant.
