Sometimes you have to hold your hands up and give credit to the opposition for their superior quality.

Hopefully you will turn them over at Wembley

North London don't travel too well.

I`m not arced with the EL, its all a bit meh, and the players appear to feel the same.

We will be better off out of it when we are eventually eliminated.

Yeah, Spurs are anti-trophies, it's understandable.

Our magnificent boys are saving themselves for Fulham on Sunday. I've had a few bowls of loud mouth soup mind...

Look really shaky without a full strength back line. Not to mention a lack of impetus in attack when either of our full backs are out.

Up top we desperately need another striker to, if not compete with Kane, then share the load. And no Janssen doesn't count at the moment.

Summer transfer window has been frankly another shocker. If we are going to spend in excess of £20m on players then can we try and make sure they are value for money?

Spurtle, didn't we warn them mate? We get a lot of stick on here for moaning at levy and bashing our awful signings but we are spot on with our assessment in regards to the fire transfer business. 50 mil for the 2 worse signings in recent history in Jansen and Sissoko

Don, I wasn't as vocal as usual about it last summer because, for one it gets boring having to say the same thing, and secondly, I was a bit more hopeful after we finally signed another striker and splashed the cash at the end on Sissoko, though I did have my doubts about both given where they came from. Not saying they can't change it around but those doubts are proving to be correct right now.

The whole scouting needs to be seriously looked at at our club. I thought we learnt our lesson after the Bale money debacle. This could arguably go down as even worse.

Levy provided the money though it was Poch, Mitchell etc that wasted it.

Poch had a big hand in getting Sissoko & Jannsen so he must take blame too.

Sissoko is quite frankly terrible. Not a winger, Not a central player either. Cannot play anywhere

Janssen is slow & clumbersom and ATM doesn't look like he's suited to the prem but think poch a miss managed him majorly.

Nkoudou litterly is a nothing player. 1 good assist and people had him starting over Son ffs Came on today and wouldn't have even realised. He'll be back in France with Njie next season.

Here's hoping the new scouts are actually decent and get the right players in. We need more technically gifted players over all these big and functional players we have

Hengy, we still don't know exactly how much the manager has a say in the signings, or how much he wants them. Could we say for example that Sissoko was one of Poch's intended targets from the start or like a 2nd or 3rd choice of his in case we didn't get someone else he would have much preferred to have got?

It's all a mess and still as confusing as ever. Wish there was more transparency about who does what at the club.

Isn't that how every club works?

There's a profile of player and then there's a list of players that fit said profile.

You go through the list to find a player who you can buy.

Anyway there's a new guy in now in Hitchin who's supposed to be good and more old school and doesn't base everything of stats.

This summer is huge as we need actual players who can contribute.

I guess it should be how it works. The fact that Sissoko was such a late signing at £30m leads me to think he was less a really desired player on a shortlist and more a last resort panic buy .

Oh and in terms of new signings, they should preferably be PL experienced so that they don't need a year or more to adapt (Lamela, Son, Janssen etc.), but actually be doing well in the PL before we get them, unlike Sissoko.

Damari Gray

Mahrez

Dzeko (and not just cos he hit a hat trick tonight for Roma - I liked him in his City days too - 30 but still got a few years in him as he doesn't rely on pace)
Sessegnon

Still hopeful Kyle Walker mk2 will come through next year and I don't mind Trips as the RWB cos at least he can put a cross in so is a threat down the right unlike Davies who literally offers nothing in that position.

Dump NKoudou, Jannsen, Sissoko. Yep I'm giving them no time, I've seen no flash of a reason to keep them. The LIFO method of stock management.

posted on 17/2/17

I agree flashy, i would dump all 3 of them. All of Nkoudou, Jansen and Sissoko look total dogs** and it's one of the worse transfer windows we have had. Wanyama being the only spark in a heap of s*** which has cost us over 50 million

Totally agree. Sissoko is an athlete not a footballer. He's quick and he's strong but severely lacks technical ability or a footballing brain - perfect for Mourinho. N'Koudou hasn't shown anything whenever I've seen him and there are Easter eggs on sale in Tesco before Janssen has scored from open play

We simply cannot have anothe fack up in the summer. Scouting should be taking place NOW so that we know exactly who we're after come the end of the season. Not some long drawn-out and manufactured fanfare for N'ogoodareyou and last minute panic with Sissoko
