"IE-many said Barton would end in tears, Niko was a massive risk due to his lack of games, and that Rossitter was injury prone. Crooks was an unknown-because he's been playing lower league football. Generally, there's a reason for that. It didn't work out for him, you say because of injuries, but when he was fit he struggled to make the bench.
Not an oracle, just can see the woods beyond the trees."
Nah, you do yourself an injustice there. You are the oracle
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well, that's your opinion. All these points were made when they signed. It was a high risk strategy with these players. The risk v reward wasn't a good strategy if as everyone now says you were never going to win the league.
Your club and manager made poor decisions. Not one of the players mentioned has justified the choices made.
But yeah, unforeseen circumstances and that.

Well they are. Remember how Hartson failed a medical at Rangers?
Whatever you say oh great oracle one
Parp
Scott Brown-6 league championship medals, 4 league cup medals, 2 Scottish cup medals, young player of the year, player of the year, made the team of the year 3 times.
I'm sure he's concerned by what the ja606 bear community think of him.

They're not really though rats.
And that point doesn't really help you tbh-Hartson went on to have a good career-yet you signed Rossiter with his medical history.
So, thanks for failing Hartson-much appreciated!
Not as much as warbs will be gutted at what the606 bhoys community think of him !

Brown is able to look at his career and see it's been successful-that kinda contradicts what is said about him on here.
'Warbs' on the other hand is looking for his nearest job centre.

There's plenty of revisionism in there!
Brown will always know that he never tested himself at the highest level, content to spend his career at Celtic as a big ugly fish in a small dirty pond.

Rats-if you can point out the revisionism?
PB-he's played and captained his country. He's also played and captained his club in the CL. That's a pretty high level.
And to be fair Curly, we are talking about football here-not careers before and after. The comment about the job centre was merely to highlight the guy isn't in a job, why it's being taken literally is more to do with the person reading the comment rather than the person posting.

The difference is that now there's a huge gulf in class between the league in Scotland and the league in England's.
Gulf wasn't anything like that when Greig played.
Someone would have had to bid for Broon to be fair...
That nobody did tells you his level is in Scotland
