This is the worst of the three I wrote 😡 I lost all motivation. Plus it wasn't easy writing on my kindle, it kept changing Huddersfield to Bakersfield???
Also my punctuation isn't the best on this, my standards are slipping.
Plus (final moan I promise) I've got a badly dripping tap and I feel as though I'm undergoing some form of water torture. I will be on the phone to HomeServe in the morning for them to sort it out. Might as well as get my money's worth.
Oh, and I've missed two episodes of Hoarders with all this messing about 😂
Great thread utg👍
I was at that game too at leeds road in 87 ...i remember it was a pleasant day with sunshine and i was sat on the wall around the pitch terrace side watching the players warm up pre match...i think the fences went up around the pitch not long after...but i cannot remember the score
A true giant of english football are the villa and im looking forward to this one more that the toon game
Will hrh prince william be attending??
I didnt see much wrong with saturdays performance..well second half...apart from those 2 terrible goalkeeping errors and im sure the lads will return to winning ways with a 2-0 home victory👍
Well done UTG, I'm as positive as Waltz, we'll put them to the sword, we don't lose too many... 5 stars from me.
UTG, Villa have fans on here, can't you add them in? Trust me I'm the biggest technophobe yet I can tag another team.?
It won't let me, just says invalid and something about tagged teams. Not happy with this site tonight 😡
The 'Vampire' arises Walt ....
(The disappointing truth - Insomnia)
Biggest tachnophobe ! I think I could give you a good run for that title Wethers.
Gastede went to Boro in the last trannie winda ! btw.
Those three words come into play for Tuesday nights match, that I commented after Saturdays defeat.
'Determined, Forceful. Intent.'.
An early goal, & I'll bet the relief of anger & annoyance, Frustration and what ever else left over from that 'swindle' on Saturday will manifest into one of the best atmospheres this season.
No easy game though is it. Another tight affair, In reality we'll probably have to be patient again.
I'm thinking, 3 points, and expectations restored being just three points behind Brighton, with that game in hand.
It's the Night of the R's.....folks ?
Come on Rothers & Reading
Oh.
& 5 tap washers UTG...
I wish it was as easy for ME to fit a washer to cure dripping !
What ? Come on guys.... I ain't no spring chicken no more .
Admin 1, can't you get this on the Villa board.
Morning Lads and lasses.
Here,s to a good game you have loads to play for, we just have to try and get team together for a better next season.
Not on our board still.
Morning everyone, admin can you put this on the Villa board please?
The image you've implanted in my mind is too much for a Monday morning Darn, it will probably stay with me all day now as well 😂
Five dripping drips from me UTG!
I'd certainly change the starting line up, Ward, Mooy and Wells on the bench. Coleman, Lolley and Quaner to start.
The way to speed the play up is either to tell Mooy to help driving the team forward. If he can't do that, then send him back to Man City. I'm so bored of watching him play! 💤
Another tough encounter with a recent Premiership team. It should be a good match up, but Town should be able to beat Villa.
I like Mooy and think all our good play comes through him. I definitely wouldn't start Lolley, I had this conversation with Hydy, but I don't think he's up to this level at the moment. I don't know whether it's due to all his injuries but I really think he's been found out. I hope I'm wrong and he does get some starts and tears the opposition apart but can't see it at the moment.
UTG, I know I'm out in the cold in regard to my opinion of Mooy, but have you really spent time watching him?
The positives were, one good free kick, one good shot on target and the penalty, which all footballers should put away.
The negatives were, every corner wasted, constant time wasting, yes, time wasting by passing the ball square on or backwards and slow movement.
Wake up folk, he's hoodwinking you.
It's strange how we all see things differently isn't it, although I agree his corners aren't the best.I'll make a point of watching him tomorrow night and see if I can see what you see (or don't)
That would be good UTG, you may see a different aspect to his game then.
For me, he loses the ball often and his passing is very short range. As I have stated before, he does the very basics consistently. Something you'd expect any junior footballer to do.
And no pace.....
He's slow. Check him out UTG, He gets caught quite a bit,
Put it this way, He'll never play for Man City in the prem.
If we don't go up he'll get at a team like Derby or Villa, £9 million from Man city. He's been fantastic this season...
In terms of tagging another team, sometimes it tags AFC Telford by default. No idea why. Just untag Town, then try again with both teams. Always works for me when I do that.
Think we'll win, but can see it being another nervy affair. Definitely not as easy as the table makes it look.
2-1 (Kachunga & Brown, Kodjia)
UTT
Their last three games, They have kept clean sheets.
Coming out of that horrific slump straight after Christmas, three straight wins I'd say their mindset is a traditional "The other side must not score. Anything else is a bonus".
It is going to be another packed defense, with them being content to hit TOWN on the break.
We are going to have to be patient.
Again.
I too think we'll win. But Frustration being the main problem. More so for the home crowd rather than the players,
totally wrong about mooy!
He,s class!
He certainly is Waltz, I've no idea what LV has against him.
Waltz, either make a mental note or write down the positives and negatives in Mooy's play against Villa. You may be surprised; I reckon your list will have more negatives.
And i spend plenty of time watching him in the flesh not 2 dimensional views on tv....ont bench
Yeah and hefeles a donkey
He,s no pace granted but far better than butterfield or clayton...iv seen all 3 and mooys the best👍
