Some sensible comments lads, what's happened to this site?

I agree about the education part. He's getting the best facilities at a young age but for me playing games in a first team environment is the best for any young lad.

My worry is regarding the so called football cycle now, it's deeply concerning the way young players are snapped up via so called loopholes and incentives for parents etc.

Feruz was on 2-3k pw. The real money went to his parents in a lump sum more than likely.

My lad is in private education paid up until he's 18 or joins another Cat A club. He has missed out on his childhood and as far as I'm concerned he deserves every penny he may earn in the future. If I have any input on his career path, then it would be to the highest wage offer.
