Why not? We're already seeing special deals being set up within different industries - look at Nissan as an example.
Many Leave voting areas have been desperately trying to secure special deals - and some have been successful in doing so.
what i fear tho Smid is that for the first 5/6 years our game will be impacted the most. That is the sorta time period i think it would take before we start to see any improvement in our own domestic players after which point i bet there would then be some sorta work around for work permits and such due to human rights or whatever by which time our game will have suffered and slipped further down the rankings in europe etc therefore in long run not really actually benefit us at all.

Achievable if the EU27 agree to it, and will be costly. The PL have the resource however to pay for lesser visa controls for their members.
In regard to Nissan, the ‘deal’ is more nonsense. It relates to market access, not visa controls.
It’s against WTO (state aid) rules for the EU/UK to negotiate different arrangements for different industries even if the EU/UK wanted to.

My post referred to the Nissan deal. I did not try to associate Home Office/WTO rules.
In that it is believed the UK gov offered Nissan a 'sweetner' to remain in the UK (as well as identical SM access post Brexit). EU Commission currently investigating as also breaches EU subsidy Directives.

For clarity suggest you read the WTO website:
