The scores are irrelevant but Odi cricket isn't going in favour of the batsmen, for pitches and new change of rules. I am sure some of the purists don't mind seeing a bit more of a balance between bat and ball
Is going in favour of batsmen **
Ridiculous from Pak, just putting so much pressure on themselves. Got to play positively.
Pakistan really are the cricketing worlds enigma. How can you bowl so well with such attacking venom then let the batsmen go into a huge defensive hole by playing tuk tuk cricket. So boring to watch.
Hafeez has gone to the c17 with one goal: Cementing his place in the side. Scoring runs fro himself. Putting himself before the team. Did the same in the last match... problem naff all in terms of depth so we are stuck with the same old rubbish
That's a bullllsht tracking system if that's missing the stumps
Imran Tahir has no Pakistani left in him
Looking a little unlikely play will be resumed. If the match is abandoned Pakistan would win on D/L but our run rate probably won't be increased much. It could all go down to net run rate if a few teams are tied on 4 points.
Why is there also no studio when England don't play. Sometimes it's nice to see everyone's opinions during intervals and rain breaks etc but there's been none of that during this tournament apart from during England matches! That's not very good at all.
Arsenal Pakistan should have played faster and finished the match by chasing the total in 40 overs.
Pakistan winning this is cat amongst the pigeons stuff. Makes Sunday's game between SA and India very interesting... if Lanka win tomorrow, could get even more interesting.
No coincidence Pakistan looking comfortable now and picked up run rate since hafeez was out
Nah we need India to win every game.
If Lanka win tomorrow, the last group games are effectively qfs?
Ind saffers
Pak Lanka
You are right. Come on SL
Well lets hope your Pakistani boys wish doesn't come true. With the weather as it is any result is possible, as you boys showed last night.
Cloudy and overcast conditions predicted and so expecting a low scoring affair today
India to Bat first, interesting to see how they cope with the overcast conditions. Although hit 300+ against Pakistan, they were fortunate with the dropped catches, not sure SL will be dropping as many.
Pakistan wasted the new ball by bowling spin. Lets hope SL don't do the same.
Solid start for us. Dhawan is a completely different player in big tournaments - especially in England. Averages over 75 in 11 games played.
Solid start for Team India, can see them scoring 300+ if they play 50 overs.
Dhawan and Rohit have answered to their critics....justifying their selection in playing XI.
Ok so India through to semis. How does that leave the rest of the group.... Lanka surely gone with negative run rate...it's between pak and saffers on run rate.
Rohit was a good-for-nothing, inconsistent and untrusted figure within the Indian setup as a middle order batsman. Dhoni's decision to move him to open basically changed his whole career.
2 big wickets here.... India still well placed
