At no stage there does it say he is willing to sell him, in fact he pretty much says the exact opposite

I take that as his valuation of Geubbels he would sell at. He has not even signed a professional contract and is still on a youth contract. If I offer the valuation that the Lyon president is asking for they would reluctantly accept it. That would be too much for them to turn down for a player on a youth contract. And the added bonus that I'm offering first choice for him should be in my favor.

I don't get what's unrealistic about this transfer though. The player is on a youth contract, and will not sign a professional contract with the club. The president of the club has out a valuation on the player, which I'm willing to pay higher.
