Would you be happy to do a Hibs next season and take a handful of Celtic's fringe players on loan to help you get up?

With Hibs no longer in that league it makes sense for us to partner with another Championship team. And given the size if the club and the facilities it would make sense to be United.

Or would you prefer to build your own young team?

Simon Murray has signed for Hibs by the way. Just seen a picture of him with a Hibs top on.

I have no problem taking one or two loans that will improve the team.

I still don't get the hate towards Thomson/Utd from Gers fans?!? Did he order bullets to be sent in the post to one of their players, or did he have a no protestant signing policy or something?!?

They can rarely explain it themselves.

They talk about how he led the charge to not let Rangers back in the league then when challenged can't provide any quotes or evidence to back it up. And that's because the only evidence they have is because Charles Green said it, and they can't bring themselves to admit that they believed everything Green said.

Then they try to blame it on the game they were double charged for, despite the fact that United fans were also charged and the second game was charged at half-price, thus meaning they paid for a game and a half of football which is exactly what they saw.

We're football fans, when do we need to explain ourselves, we're irrational by our very nature - the whole tribalism is a bit irrational really

I can't stand Utd and it's mostly due to thinkin Thompson is a cvnt.

Obv the past 5 years has put another slant on how Bears feel about other clubs and their fortunes. I know a few Utd fans and I'm always empathetic with any football fans who support their team and seem to get sh@t on by the results. Part of me wanted Utd up because Hamilton offer nothing to the league. That said, I wouldn't lose sleep if Utd now slid further and ended up in League One.

Probably come up next year and if they do it's hopefully in place of Hamilton who are just a skidmark of a club - so poorly supported that they offer nothing.

There were screwballs on Twitter last night saying "nothing makes me happier than seeing young Dundee United fans in the stands crying after the games"

I don’t really follow lower league football, but I remember you guys from Champ Manager 2001.

I watched both ties, first one with some Inverness fans in Aviemore. When Inverness fans are deriding the standard, then you know it’s bad.

A common theme was that there was absolutely no midfield to be seen anywhere, for anyone. There was a gaping hole in the middle of the pitch at all times.

Chris Sutton shouting “LAUNCH IT” didn’t really help. Anyway, the two teams were where they were due to being not very good, so it was never going to be of a high standard. Reasonably enjoyable, like watching a guy who used to bully you at school getting beat up, but he is now a junky and can’t really walk or speak so kind of take pity on them a little bit. Then you remember the taunting and feel nothing.

No point in being factually correct Ivan it's not what they like to believe 🤔 Disappointing yesterday but not too surprised, total lack of quality and fight in the team and we simply didn't deserve it. murray will be a bit of a miss but not overly disappointed to see him go great effort but not much else. !
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm not bothered. It would have been nice to keep him but such is life, we'll move on and hopefully find someone better.

My boss was bemoaning the performance of Spittal this morning but hard to blame him when the ball is constantly above his head. It was painful to watch with an interest, I can only imagine how painful it was to watch as a neutral.

I'm pretty sure now that we would have pumped you if we had played you in the play-offs, but hopefully get you in the cup next season. We could do with an easier draw than last year after getting pumped out by East Fife and St Mirren.

Great Hamilton stayed up. Far superior to a p!ss poor DU. Add to it the GIRFUY factor tae baldy and it makes for a very pleasing result..

Prediction - DU to go into admin now. Deducted substantial amount of points before season even starts. Relegated to league 1

And so their very own romantic journey begins

Pleasing. Very pleasing

It genuinely gives me comfort that you hate United so much.

Feel free to answer POVs question from earlier about why you hate United so much Esc.
