The UK is becoming like the wild west.
Possible incident outside Westminster again right now.

Once upon a time in the west.
Good the bad and the ugly
Dances with wolves
Always felt Unforgiven was overrated. A better western by Eastwood is High Plains Drifter.
Not my favourite genre but I guess...
The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, Once Upon a Time in the West and The Wild Bunch yeah.
Honourable mentions: The Proposition, The Salvation, Back to the Future 3, the rest of the Fistful trilogy, Butch Cassidy.
Blazing saddles.
1970's politically incorrectness at its finest.
Brilliant.

I do think the acting in Unforgiven is great though.
OP how old are you?
I'm 26 and can't think of a single western that's been released in that time? Am I missing out?
Cowboys v Aliens...
Wonderful adaptation of George C. Scotts' -Billy the Kid
You cannot think of a single Western that has been released since 1991?
Off the top of my head: The Proposition, The Salvation, 3:10 to Yuma, The Assassination of Jesse James (forgot to add that one to my list), Cowboys & Aliens, The Magnificent Seven....all released after 1991.

What would be an actual definition of a Western though? Could Lawrence of Arabia count? Could Mad Max?

There are loads of Westerns made since 1991, it was a specific question to JHernandez.
He also seems unaware that you can watch films made before your birth, but thats for another day.
Little house on the prairie
Unforgiven was released in 92 anyway.
1. The good the bad and the ugly.
2. True Grit
3. Unforgiven
Some of my favorites are mostly the ones mentioned, Serge Leone was a genius.
However honorable mentions to Tombstone, thought it was a great film.
Always loved Young Guns and Young Guns 2, dunno why but always liked it.
The Alamo with John Wayne is a classic, always liked it. Same with Big Jake. Used to watch it with my dad when I was younger. Not the greatest film ever but a nostalgic favorite.
Magnificent 7 was good, not seen the new one yet so I will reserve judgement.
Not a film but Deadwood is absolutely brilliant.
