This may come across sexist, but am I the only one that finds it really weird to come across overtly racist women?

I’ve never really encountered it much in my life, and is usually something I see in videos (usually from America), so anecdotally I have a presumption that women are less racist than men (particularly overtly).

There must be studies done on racist attitudes between men and women, never thought too much to look, however.

Never really look to gender when it comes to racism, but there is one common demographic especially with Americans.

I agree, typically it’s because you expect a group of people who have come under some form of oppression to have empathy with others. Similarly I find it weird when gay people are racist.

Nah f*cking everyone here is obsessed with race. Also Americans seem to be way more homophobic than Brits, especially black Americans (cos most are bible brain washed)

I also think it’s because I just generally find, and expect, women to be nicer than men.

On the empathy side of it, I think there’s been studies that suggest women are more empathetic than men, and as such you’d think they’re less likely to be racist - even if racism is a social construct.
