He just scored a nice goal to make it 3-0. Has looked really good.
Always tough to know with young players. Especially as they’ve got to have a pathway to the senior team. Despite our academy not being as good as it was in recent years, I still think we’re the best of the big clubs in England at providing that pathway and opportunities to the academy.
We’ve put a lot of work into improving the academy in recent years, though. So it looks like we should see a few more making it to the first team than we have in recent years.

Think his stock may actually have risen a bit after their end to the season. Pretty sure he'll get picked up by a big team. Bayern maybe?
Robb article incoming I suppose.

Wouldn’t surprise me if he rocks up at Old Trafford.

I completely agree, you've had a lot of players who may not even have excelled that much getting regular opportunities. You and Liverpool are good for that

Spain lost 2-1 to Portugal earlier if our Spanish friends are interested. Those two in the same group as England and France.

I notice some barely disguised joy in that comment.
Portugal must have such a strong youth setup to be so consistently good at every level and keep churning out top players with such a small population.
I see Italy are playing their opening fixture in the group of death atm.

Oh really? Didn’t mean to come across that way. I much prefer Spain to Portugal so know joy from me, I’m still bitter about 04 and 06.
Yeah they’ve done an incredible job with their youth development over the last decade or so. I remember reading a while ago that the big three having B teams admitted to the higher leagues has really helped. Obviously Porto and Benfica have had their eye on flipping South Americans for big fees, but they’ve also had a real shift towards developing and selling homegrown players.

Probably just a very freak occurrence, but the fact it was another Boeing isn't too reassuring. Hearing on the BBC that the plane dropped 2000m just like that. That doesn't sound like a very normal bump.

Just to put the shivers down their spines. You can't put anything past these madcap owners. And Spanish radio isn't a source they can immediately check.
That’s true. Let’s hope they bite.
It's looking less and less likely that McKenna will still be at Ipswich next season. We ought to put up a main mast on the centre circle at Portman Road and tie him to it.
