Anyway, my winnings helped contribute my trip to LA and Vegas which I went on in June
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Where you lost it all on the roulette tables?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Mate I won so much money when I went to Vegas like $800, but admittedly I spent about that one night in the strippers. ~$350 off a 25c bent was definitely the highlight.

Strippers were telling me they'd fck me for $1000 when they got off shift,

Edin, roulette? I stuck to blackjack and a bit of roulette

Roulette mainly.

The big win was at the machines at the bar, realised that if you have $20 in your account they keep giving you free beers, so kept betting like 25c on 5card poker. Then one hand got 4 Aces and a 2 and came out laughing.

Need to make my way back out there. Best holiday I've been on. Stayed at the Bellagio as well

I used to watch loads but now it's limited to the PL and CL. Generally if I'm at home I'll have whatever game is on TV on.

It's a crazy, amazing place. I find it grinds you down after a few days so tried to limit it to 4 day trips the last couple of times. That said, I have two kids now so can't see myself going back unless it's on a stag do.
Bellagio is cool. Never actually stayed there. I started at the bottom (Sahara) and worked my way up the strip and ended with MGM.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah stayed there 5 days and 4 nights this time. Won't do more than that.

How was the MGM? It's nice downstairs but never seen the rooms or anything.

Yeah harder to make your way there when you have kids for sure, has to be a stag. Luckily I'm still young enough to fit in another trip before married life

MGM rooms are nice. To be honest, I find that every room out there is decent enough though. They have to be due to the amount of choice there is and lets face it, you don't spend much time in it. Had some nice touches like TV's in the bathrooms and stuff though. The sports bar in the MGM is probably one of my favourite places to drink though. Always a great atmosphere.

Yeah true, don't spend too much time there. I felt girls got impressed when I said I was staying at the Bellagio Deffo helped me pulling a few chicks.

The sports bar must be packed on big boxing nights

College football is actually when it's at it's best. College football is far more like our sports over here in terms of the way the teams are supported. A lot of NFL fans support teams/franchises from other cities. The college teams are far more passionate as it's obviously about where people have gone to college for 4 years.Had some crazy nights off the back of meeting people those evenings.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

A lot of it is to do with the fact that your team won't just vanish, or get up and move to another state though. Also I think the disparity in talent between players makes it much more appealing to the eye. Pro football is more of a tactical battle, college ball is just fun.

Has anyone wasted time watching the women's euros?

4 days is not enough for Vegas, especially with the 10 hour flight.

I did a week and wanted more!!! So much to do, we went clubbing 4 nights, went to see Cirque du Soleil, Saw a UFC event, gambled a lot, went shopping, a trip to the grand canyon, ate at some amazing places, chilled at the pool, gatecrashed a wedding reception.

There is is so much to do. We have all agreed everybody has their stag do in Vegas.

I stayed in Excalibur. Was nice enough and when gambling we found they bring you more drinks than any other casino. Enjoyed a few daquari's at 5/6AM coming home a few times.

Had a great view of NYNY/ MGM/ the Carlos one too.

Only issue is it felt like forever walking back up the strip. Ideally I'd stay somewhere like Ceasers or Cosmopolitan next time, since it's in the middle.

Busby, I only stayed 4/5 nights as I was previously in LA, took the 1hour flight from LA to Vegas, so wasn't too bad at all.

Went to XS(saw Courtois on the table next to us) and Omnia and Bank. All great clubs.

Did you do the helicopter trip to the Canyon? That's what we did

I can see the attraction in 4/5 nights if you are doing other places. I'd love to do San Fran, San Diego and New Orleans one day.

We rented Mustangs and drove to Hover Dam/ Grand Canyon. Stayed over at smoke house on the way, good day out after a night on the sauce.

We saw Pitbull at a table in Omnia, Calvin Harris was playing We also saw Tiesto and Showtek at Hakkasan (my favourite club, some girls brought me and a pal onto their table which was cool) and Major Lazer in XS.

I hate clubbing, but it's a different world out there. Didn't enjoy paying $35 for a drink though.

Also had the best burger of my life in Gordon Ramseys place in Ceasers.

I can't explain how good the aioli was.

Yeah saw Tiesto in XS and Calvin Harris at Omnia.

I actually went to San Fran after Vegas as well, went to Yosemite first, mind. Was quite a long drive but we managed it. San Fran is a great City, but the difference between the poor and the rich was clear to see

Yeah, the clubs got a little heavy at times, we were right at the front for Calvin Harris but you couldn't go for a drink since you'd never get back in. They get so busy it's ridiculous.

Would love to do Yosemite, some of my friends have in the past.
