All came down the right, Roofe not really any chance to get involved, poor tactically and Weldwald is a terrible keeper in my view, see the article I just created.

Phillips and Hernandez are often just passengers ...just my opinion.

We could have problems down the line if we don't go up

Give four deals out like confeti, to player who simply aren't good enough and never will be

Might just be me but I don't rate Roofe at all. Nothing in his game that says to me there is a great player there.

You need some steel in your side and I can't see where that is coming from with this team. Doukara offers a bit of steel and possibly Viera in a year or two but we are far too lightweight otherwise.

A bit of reality test today.
Just wondering if some of the players were overwhelmed by the atmosphere and the grittiness of the opposition?
I was surprised that Anita wasn't brought on to get the midfield moving. This was our big weakness last season and it will not be resolved by playing the same players in the same positions.

Best performers today for me (based on my LUTV viewing, were:

Ayling, Cooper, CBJ, Vieira.

Most disappointing were:

Jansson, Wood, Phillips and Roofe.

Never mind, we go again on Wednesday against the fancied Fulham who will be without whomever was sent off early today.

I think we're too light weight, all our players are small, not that that's a bad thing, but Derby were on the other night and they're all big fookers. We'll get out fought a lot this season

Totally agree with Wakey, these 4 year deals to some of these players could cause big problems. If they are not good enough they can merely pick up the wages and hardly ever feature. Moving them on will be mega difficult.

A little bit of a reality check for us yesterday.Lots of improvements in many areas needed but still quite a few positives.

Fulham will be a huge test and we'll really need to raise our game particularly in midfield. I would like to see Anita start in midfield along with Saiz and get him closer to Wood. If we are not on it these lot will pass us off the park. Am sure TC is aware of this but we could start by not playing same midfield as last season.

Would like to see this lineup against Fulham:

----------------------Green
Ayling--Pennington--Jansson--Jackson
-----------------Anita----Vieira
-------Alioski-------Saiz------Dallas
----------------------Wood

Same but cooper can't be dropped with way he's playing

Is there some update on Pennington... thought he was out for weeks?

Pennington not going to play for awhile.

Wiedwald will be in goal.
