Both Dzagoev and Akinfeev still playing at CSKA which I find surprising considering both were extremely highly regarded a couple of years back.

Robb,

We have more than enough tall players in either box for set pieces. I don't recall us being poor at defending set pieces with Yorke, Cole, Becks, Keane, Scholes and Giggs on the field. None of them were very tall. Our team now - even without Fellaini - is very tall.

Herrera is a more creative player on the ball - very good at playing through balls and is simply a better play. Whether instead of or with Fellaini, he should be in the team.

Fellaini has started well - no doubt about that - but he hinders the way we play, especially if the opposition are half decent. Coming off the bench and being a bit further up the field, I've no issue with him. He has his uses but we won't get away with him in the middle of the park in the starting 11 for too much longer.

I hear what you’re saying and I literally have no problem with him being on the bench when all are fit.

But I don’t think he benches Herrera when we play the bigger sides. Reckon it’s a 3 of him, Herrera and Matic.

Against the smaller sides I don’t think he hinders how we play. What is hindering us at the moment against the smaller sides is Micky and Mata not quite being in sync. Which is why yesterday I was saying from the 20th minute we should have started Herrera over Mata. Not because Saints are a great team but more than I think he’s more dynamic from midfield and has a bit more to him than Mata currently has

No Bailly and Jones partnership? They've finished their respective suspensions right?

It'd be stupid to not put out your best performing CB pairing if available.

I'd utilise the squad for this one

De Gea
Young Bailly Smalling Darmian
Herrera Matic
Lingard Mata Martial
Lukaku

Should have enough to win but a point would be no bad result either

We should be going for a win.
