Dunno, but Willy is French
I do think Nuno could probably still go in goal.
Ah! yes, so he is. OK dumb question then

Does it not make you wonder about the calibre of our previous management that these players talents have not been appreciated.

Not really, it has been obvious for a long time our managers have been clueless as to talent and that includes Mick once we gained promotion.
Siggy has scored well into double figures this season in a division where high goal returns are rare incidentally
We have had some truly pathetic management the last two years in particular, Lambert was an absolute pure and utter clueless

Here's a question for the older posters. Have any of you recently bought hearing aids? Or has anyone got parents who have recently bought hearing aids?
Not interested in national health ones just wondering how much they cost in the UK. I have just had two which are going to cost 3100 euros (£3.000)
Say again gem?
Doesn't really work on line does it
That sounds expensive
I MEANT THAT SOUNDS EXPENSIVE
Can get them for a couple of hundred quid
Depends on the HD number ie quality but we can get hold of them through a supplier
I'll bear that in mind Tino. I'm pretty much committed to these now but as they only have a life expectancy of 8 years I may shop in the UK for replacements when the time comes.
Don't know what the HD number is but I'm told these are the best that you can get.

Yea we have a few businesses asking us to sell them on
3k seems steep though
Any of you lot read Michael Petalengro's blog, South Bank Resistance? If not you should give it a click, excellent read in my view. Not to everyone's taste maybe, more urban in style than ALOB for sure but well written. Here's a link to the latest instalment:

The characters he refers to make me laugh, I'm sure we've all come across them.

How about this Halfy?
Before the season's end:
1. Costa not only returns to last season's levels but, with better support, exceeds them.
2. At his age and only being new to the Championship Jota has still got some way to go and ups his game by 25%.
3. Neves finally settles down and consistently produces the superb standards that we know he can.
4. Cavalleiro decides he's going to stop messing about and perform week in week out the way he has done recently.
5. Bonatini can't believe his luck and simply helps himself to the huge number of assists that the above players provide for him.
6. Batth, Boly and Miranda realise that there is competition for places and all improve and, as a result, the defence becomes impenetrable.
7. In January we buy a 25 goal a season striker.
Unbeaten after Christmas do we simply finish the season 15 points ahead of 2nd place?
Discuss.
I don't think there is any doubt that this team are yet to reach their peak. It's a young team with little experience of playing in England so improvement should be inevitable. The two potential downfalls are firstly that it is easier to play a passing game on summer, autumn and spring pitches than it is in the depths of winter. And the players will need to show they can adapt to cold and heavy conditions. and secondly the intensity of the game in the uk and the volume of games is higher than most of them have been used to, and fatigue could become an issue.
But if any team looks capable of pulling clear at the top as the season goes on I think it's Wolves
Roast butternut squash and chilli is definitely my favourite soup.
Said Ruben neves when asked how he would survive the winter?
