I don't like the social benefits structure of EU migration. Sure everyone is welcome with a job, but not equal social care and privileges when its own are going to food banks (of course this isn't just an EU issue and we will agree on corporate tax and stuff, but while that isn't happening, handouts/assistance shouldn't be so readily available.

Erm..

Who wants to tell him?

Ok I will.

This aspect of migration can be controlled from within the EU.

The UK didn’t do want to do anything on this point.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I do know that the UK govt can put on restrictions and didn't - both Labour and Tory. But the point remains that whilst migration is free it diminishes the countries resources. Without the EU it can't.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What resources are diminished sorry?

The UK? We produce more, look how many tonnes of pork just got incinerated because we had no migrants to process it, same with vegetables, rotting in the fields. The NHS? We are meant to bill their country of origin, we never bothered, that would have been significant to the NHS budget, and of course the NHS itself is staffed 30% By migrants, it's resources are lessened outside of the EU.

As for the countries migrated from, Poland's economy has trebled since joining. They have been enriched, their resources have increased, co-operation is a GOOD thing

Two points that were made continually in the early parts of this thread

1) immigration was a net contributor to the UK economy
2) the UK economy needed net migration of 230,000 a year for continued growth

It is a shame that the same, tired and debunked points are rehashed at regular intervals.

There will come a time when Brexit will be generally accepted as a move of idiocy by all. That penny doesn’t seem to have dropped just yet though.

No maybe about it, those are from the ONS.

1) considering the population is aging the net benefit will be paying retirement pensions and subsequent requirements through PAYE and NI.

2) the UK population would reach an equilibrium.

It seems the case for remain has to be made continually, whilst the fallacy of Brexit is looked to be blamed on anything but Brexit.

While I’m not surprised, it does become tiresome.

Our fight is for the same kind of thing here with different approaches.

By resources I meant money.

Migrants to process it. That isn't the way. Pay a wage.

NHS. We are meant to bills them but we don't. So stop them coming.

NHS staffed by immigrants. Get Brits working.

Migrants taking up housing and propping up the market. Stop allowing migrants in.

Before you write your reply, I'm not anti immigration (I know it doesn't read that way 😂), I am anti unemployment, home ownership issues and cr@p wages. And of course there are solution the govt could put in place to eradicate all the issues you mentioned. But the crux of it is ... they don't. So, an alternative needs to be sought and unfortunately that comes down to reducing the use of immigration. Utter bullshiete philosophy there, but I firmly believe that Brits need to work the govt need to facilitate that need along with everything you mentioned.

We are pretty much on the same page just skinning the cat in a different way.

As for Poland, well yes. Because they weren't doing that well and the scope to rise was much greater.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We literally don't have enough bodies to fill all the jobs.

I'm for higher wages, but against rampant inflation caused by paying £40ph for someone to process meat, and then the job they left needing to offer a £50ph role.

You cannot fill every role with a Brit, unless you want people working till they are 80, I'm sorry, but it's a ridiculous stance. And brexit is doing far far more damage to the country and economy than a few thousand people pretending to have a bad back to get £50 a week to watch Jeremy Kyle.

AZ did not fack up a global emergency situation. Quite the opposite. It is the vaccine immunising the developing world for no profit.

People forget AZ also had production problems.for the UK in Autumn of 2020. The UK however didn't throw a tantrum over late deliveries. They helped AZ out in an emergency situation.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
By the end of march this year AZ had delivered 28 million doses to Covax. Covax was expecting another 90 million by the end of April, but these were on hold until at least mid July. Can't find any news if deliveries since then, so must still be on hold?
So much for you saving the world. And the poorest countries won't be getting it until 2023.
Shut your stupid fekin head t!tty.

It’s the UK that wants to recapture glory of empire and the commonwealth.

The EU recognises that through harmonisation with your closest neighbours comes massive benefits.

Ultimately, actions speak louder than words. Its easy for you to type this but hard to believe after interacting with you over time and taking in your views.

JS was possibly not in the uk to vote, am guessing.

And he has said he is not pro-EU, but you doubt that too, Mamba 105.

Am a little teapot.
