Such a shame this charlatan is in such an important position as he's shown no interest for the people of NI.

Frost: the NI Protocol has “irreparably lost consent” in Northern Ireland.

Bullsheeeeet. It never had any form of consent in the first place.

The people of NI never had a say on the terms of the Protocol, which was widely condemned at the time at which Frost - who negotiated the deal and lauded it as a “great success” - introduced it to Ulster.

Can't be forgotten that Lord Frost got his title from the fantastic oven ready deal he negotiated that he now says is awful

From what I can gather many of the alterations are to be welcomed. But there's still going to be a border with border control posts etc.

And given how some unionists have whipped up tensions surrounding the NIP, it remains to be seen if any alterations, no matter how wide ranging they are will be palatable.

Frost however is essentially claiming the NIP is dead and it breaks the GFA. A choice the UKgov and he chose...To sacrifice NI in the name of a perceived sovereignty.

This was his statement in December 2020 after the TCA was agreed.
