I dunno if there’s a joke in this but why was it sold for a quid?

Kemi Badenuff thought she had a major Zinger when she thought she corrected Kier Starmer when he announced 2 new scanners for the 2 hospitals in Kemi's constituency.

She gave a gotcha grin when she said "... perhaps the Prime Minister knows something I don't know, there's only one hospital in, er, my constituency..."

How could one be so wrong yet still be smug about it?

When something is worth nothing and is taken over by new owners there has to be some financial transaction. £1 being the minimum.

It’s akin to engaging a lawyer who cannot reveal anything you may say to them, again provided there has been a financial transaction which seals the “contract”.
