Said it before the election, Starmmer is just a Tory in red. But add to that he’s the weakest and the most pathetic leader a party could hope to have. Only Lizz Truss has been worse. As bad as the other Tory PM’s were, they had political 6th sense that Starmmer doesn’t posses.

Obviously I've known (and made it very clear on here) since Starmer conned his way into the Labour leadership that he couldn't run a bath.

However even I'm still astonished by what a bizarre weirdo he is. As tonight's benefits vote has approached inevitably the political chat has been about rebellious Labour back benchers and during this analysis I've heard from several news outlets that Starmer has never said a word to many of the 2024 intake.

Is that rude, stupid, arrogant or all 3, I'm not sure?

That God the Endgame has began!

Honestly don't understand why you dislike Starmer. If he was a Tory you'd be tonguing his ****.

This is literally the same facking deal that collapsed in January and is being rejected continuously because it doesn’t guarantee the end of the war. Why are these cuuuunts so thick?

They know what they’re doing. They keep putting all these ‘peace deals’ out there knowing they won’t work but to the average man on the street it looks like Israel are trying and thus the good guys in all this

All Starmer has over Truss is a modicum of sobriety in presentation. You only had to look at Truss's stupid grin and re-watch her infamous 'pork markets' speech and you knew.

Honestly believe the only goal of these troughing cvnts is getting the seat, locking in the lifetime £120kpa pension, personal protection and name your price personal appearance fees after they've gone. actually doing the job of 'leading' the country is just a token pass the parcel game until they're dumped and switch to the 'gloat over the mess you've handed to the opposition' game.

I am no fan of Starmer, but that’s a grossly unfair statement.

He’s made some very clear errors in reading the temperature of the nation and in how he’s gone about communicating and engaging with his MPs; but I can acknowledge that his overarching economic and social plans are actually coherent, even if I don’t believe they’ll be particularly effective or beneficial for those who most need to see change.

Truss’s ideas were fundamentally incoherent and bankrupt, and what happened to the country under her watch and her premiership were as good as inevitable.

The fact that people are even comparing Starmer to Truss should be the biggest concern.

It’s even debatable as to whether him and his party’s drop in popularity is the worst on record. As for the number of screeching U turns…

Issues at an electrical substation which caused a fire that resulted in Heathrow Airport closing were first detected seven years ago but not fixed, a report has found.

The National Energy System Operator (NESO) said moisture entering electrical components at the North Hyde substation caused the blaze at the site that supplies the UK's biggest airport with power.

It revealed an elevated moisture reading had been first detected in July 2018, but that the issue went "unaddressed", with basic maintenance by National Grid cancelled.

It’s just normal reading stories like this in the UK these days, everything just went to shiiiit after 2010

Starmer is a plastic Tory and this attempt at deflection doesn't alter the fact that he is hopeless and should stand down immediately.

He just doesn't get how Joe Public think and would need an inquiry to tell him. A great example of this is the free gear Keir scandal, he still thinks he did nothing wrong as it was in the rules!!?

He has no idea about how it looks when a bloke worth 8 mil is accepting more than two and a half times the next highest mp in handouts. He has no ethical or moral intelligence if it's in the rules it must be ok.

In short he's a pompous oaf.

NEW: Iran’s government has now officially put into effect the non-cooperation with the IAEA today.

The gov has to report back to the Parliament. Any act that leads to the failure to implement this law will result in the conviction of one or more of the 6th-degree punishments.

Theresa May regularly lost votes in the commons and is the recipient of the largest defeat on a vote for a government in parliamentary history. Rishi Sunak lost a vote on the contaminated blood scandal despite issuing a three line whip. Boris Johnson regularly lost votes on Brexit and then opposition motions.

Starmer is yet to lose a vote in the Commons and is being called the weakest leader ever. People have genuinely become pathetic about politics ever since the Brexit vote. Everyone is so reactionary and unwilling to compromise now, that I'm pretty sure we'll never have what people consider a 'strong leader' again unless they go full tyrant.

David Cameron gave the country a referendum he was certain he was going to win, to try to find off UKIP. He then lost that referendum, threw the country into political turmoil and ran away. Do people really think he was a stronger leader than Starmer?

After being threatened to be investigated by his own DOGE (by Trump) Musk tweeted..

‘Must refrain from escalating this .. for now’

In my humble opinion Musk could bring down the entire presidency if he wanted. Let’s hope he finds a backbone.

Let's deal with the here and now rather than living in the past.

Boris, ffs.

People have very short memories. Maybe he wasn't the weakest leader in terms of martialling his troops, but my god, he was an absolute facking catastrophe for the country.

At least the damage that Truss did was limited by the brevity of her tenure. Sadly, Boris did more severe and longer lasting harm.

I think Starmer has made plenty of mistakes but I also feel for him because no matter what he does in trying to actually tackle the issues we face, it p!sses off somebody.

Our welfare spending is mental and already at £310Bn which is 24% of all government expenditure. I believe it's also predicted to rise to 30% by 2030.

He's tried to tackle some of this with WFA cuts only to be accused of killing your nan. He's tried to cut spending on benefits only for his backbenchers to rebel. The NI tax rises are being blamed by businesses as the cause for the slowdown in hiring. The farmers inheritance tax is also being complained about.

So cuts are off the table and taxes on those with deeper pockets are also outrageous, which pretty much just leaves income tax rises, and we all know what the reaction to that would be.

Problem is as a country we want to be given all the benefits but don't want to to be the ones to pay for any of it.
