Just bought 1200 ADA using the profit I've made on BTC since this morning.

Here's hoping.

For short term or long term? If you feel you may be sitting on them longer than 10 days then download Daedalus, send them to your wallet and Stake them for some extra coins

When selling on Binance, if the Price is currently $25 and I set a Stop of $30.25 with a Limit of $30 -> When the Price reaches $30.25 it will be triggered and it will attempt to sell at $30.25 but it will sell all the way down to $30 if necessary?
------------------------
Yea, exactly. This helps you actually make the sale, as the price could be moving so fast that the $30.25 order would not complete.

The few times i do dabble in day trading with crypto... I buy in, set an sell order for 5% below my buy in... If that triggers, I just walk away, gamble over. If it moves up... Then I do the stop limits mentioned in the first post.

Nice!

Out of curiosity, have you ever set the Limit price higher than the Stop? Would there ever be a case for this? Can't quite figure out if I've overlooked something.

Just googled it, it's a whole new world.

I will read up more on this later.

Give it a try

I imagine it would just treat the limit price as the stop price (or vice versa.. i'm confused too now!)

I should mention as well, there are no locks on the coins, you can send them back to the exchange at anytime at the price of 1 ADA and they will be there in minutes. Even if you are currently staking them, there are no extra steps you have to take or limitations.

I'm actually starting to get a bit nervous now... My portfolio is hitting the kind of 1 day gains that I saw in about nov 2017. Deffo feels like alt season is upon us... which is both amazing and scary.

I'm (slowly) formulating a game plan.

3 'pots' basically - Keep BTC whatever for the forseeable.

Sit on ADA and study it more closely.

After I moved the bulk of my wedge to Binance, I amalgamated all the bits I had in alts left on Coinbase and swapped them for ETH which has now become a nice little sum to pump and dump for a little excitement.

Sounds like a solid plan!

I like the idea of 'alt season'.

BTC marching on.

I sold my 5 ETH back in May and made about £150, they're now worth 3 times more.

Sold my 5 ETH for about £120 each, now worth £780 each.

Previous alt seasons have ended in market crashes... the big ones!

If we are following the same path though, we could still be early doors, with months of mega gains still to come.

It’s only really happened twice before though, so not enough is known to make predictions... we are in the hype period though, no doubt about it

$28 BTC seemed too high too, as it had been $4 not long before.

Ouch... chances are you would have cashed them out long before any ATH though.

Still, £13.6m would have been ok
