Something needs to be made of this. A referee openly admitting he had a 'game plan'. What the actual fack? That is quite something.

Absolutely, what other referees out there have `game plans`, with some of the strange decisions we see being made maybe Clattenburg isn`t the only one who like to take matters into his own hands.

Seriously twisted and depressing as fack.
So staying true to his gameplan it also follows that if Spurs had had a penalty shout he wouldnt have given it saying 'nah let em lose cos i don't want to get picked on in the papers tomorrow.

To say he had ‘a gameplan’ suggests that he sat down and considered various factors regarding the situation and how things may or may not pan out. I’d imagine that Chelsea being mid-table at the time came into his thinking, meaning that if we scored a late winner due in part to players being on the pitch when they shouldn’t have been it wouldn’t have mattered much as they weren’t fighting relegation or for CL/Europa league qualification. If that was part of his line of thought then he’s consciously influencing the course of the game which is match-fixing in my eyes. That’s appalling.

He said he didn't send off players which meant he wasn't the reason they lost the title, he could have sent off 4

"But I didn't give them an excuse, because my gameplan was: Let them lose the title."
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Agree! I think the choice of the word "gameplan" was not the best. I think that he had decided ahead of time to issue red cards as a last resort. Some other officials might have sent some players off, he was holding the red cards for egregious offenses only.

Imagine if we'd won that game at the bridge and caught Leicester in the title race.

Would Clsttenburg have revealed this then, and if he had, would Leicester have had grounds for complaint.

Not just unprofessional from him, but it sets a dangerous precedent. If clattenburg allows bias to influence his decisions (or lack thereof), it's a fair assumption to say that other referees may do as well.

True. I obviously don’t give a shiiit about Chelsea or Leicester but the point is refs need to ref the game as a stand-alone game; not doing so based on the circumstances, the situation, the teams involved etc. When refs start doing this they judge things differently and try to ‘protect the game’ and all that. Webb for instance not sending off De Jong in the World Cup final was him blatantly bottling it because he didn’t want to be seen as ruining the game and deal with the furore that comes with it. That’s why the more I think about it, the more I respect th ref who sent Slippy G at Anfield after 40 seconds for his stamp. Made the call that needed to be made irrespective of everything surrounding it.
