Just True I thoroughly enjoyed the semifinal between Angelique Kerber and Simona Halep.That was great and today's match was also quite nice to watch.

Dare i say it, the WTA is more exciting than the ATP these days. Exciting matches from the earlier rounds right till the later rounds.

Though i am looking forward to tomorrow's match.

Halep, form and fitness permitting is my pick for the French. Her mental side of the game has picked up a lot and i don't see her capitulating there like she did against Maria and Ostapenko.

She is also very strong on the red stuff.

Look at top 10 wta it’s full of firmer number ones and players at career highs, it’s so open and competitive and makes for great match ups.

At 4-3 in 3rd set Halep had won 101 points to Wozniackis 97 I think it was and it ended 110 points to woz to 108 to Halep,the smallest of margins.

You only have to win just over 59% if points to win these matches but it’s the right points.

Serving stats were good for Halep but some poor shot selection here and there, fix that and she’ll win that major.

Men's final is done and dusted.It is going to be a Federer teaching a tennis lesson to Cilic today.

I want Fed to win but I think you are massively underestimating Cilic’s game and the impact it has on Fed.

In men,it is already a foregone conclusion that Mr Federer will win 20th Grand Slam tomorrow.I will not watch it.I want Cilic to win though.That would be refreshing.

Cilic played well and at least was a competitive final, however he was never really ahead in the match, always playing catch up, what is that now, 1 win in 10 matches vs Federer

Federer played well but looked. But vulnerable especially at the end of the 4th. Well done though 20th Grand Slam.

I know we had 2 new semi finalists but some players really need to step up. How on Earth Kyrgios is not in the top 8 when so many players were injured at the end of last year, I have no idea.

Cilic game can cause fed all sorts of problems and all momentum was with cilic actually at end of fourth.

Fed’s concentration goes st times, he pulled it back, focussed well and went in to win and keep emotions in check until the speeches.

Yes I got that wrong about Berdych, but both have really poor records vs Fed.

Let’s hope Cilic can kick on from here, I still feel he makes too many mistakes, especially under pressure.

Federer will be 87 on a zimmer frame and still schooling people on the court.

Cilic couldn't lose v Nadal but as usual could not keep his emotions in check and keep calm to win 5th set.All credit to Roger Federer.

i think Colic hand gives Fed loads of problems, nerves hit better of Cilic at first and Fed experience showed in the end.

Remember players like Cilic rarely get to finals so don’t build the experience Fed has. Could be different this year with so many top players injured.
