I don't understand why Wenger did not go for PEA when he signed Lacazette. Yes, I know PEA has some discipline issues but Wenger is getting fekinn £8m per year so I am sure he would have some man management skills? PEA is def way better than Lacazette.
Plus no one knows why Lacazette not playing 90 mins...I mean fair enough its a new league to him but FFS you are professional player..90 mins is not big ask.
We did big mistake by not signing PEA last year...you may laugh at me but he is Suarez esqu player which we were/are crying for so many years. He may not be as good as Suarez but similar imo.
To be honest all our players are rubbish especially defence and midfield. Absolute bunch of school boys.
It doesn't matter who we signed they would go down hill like the rest of them.
Until management changes this will always be the case.
Giroud has been very lethal for Arsenal when he hits the target. Even this season 18 shots 6 on target 4 goals.
Giroud last season 39 shots 20 on target 12 goals. Arsenal have been like near enough the most clinical team over the last 4 years so strikers were not the problem. Lacazette just made Arsenal more wasteful then they have been.
Lacazette 50 shots 26 on target 8 goals.
To succeed in the PL as a striker I think you have to be physically gifted. Either fast or strong. The likes of Soldado, Aspas, Zaza, etc didn't have this and failed, but had success in other leagues
Lacazette isn't particularly fast or strong. He can't run the channels and despite being tidy on the ball he can't really battle with defenders when he's isolated. The likes of Kane, Morata and Lukaku can all do this
It also prevents him from being able to create chances for himself. He's taking far less shots per 90 than the other big name strikers in the league which is why he's not scoring many goals. He is a good finisher imo. But he lacks the talent to create many clear shots at goal. Kane is superb at this, for instance

It wasn't obvious if you fell for the hype.
It's a bit deluded to expect a striker to come into a new league and score 25+ league goals in a pretty poor team.
I don't think any striker in the prem has managed that.

There's an attacker that's on course to do that this season, unless you're saying that Liverpool were not a poor team last season, despite winning less trophies and only just finishing above our poor team in the league

4 goals in 9 games, guess that's it then, Lacazette is world class
Even Darren Bent had scoring runs
