Watched Batman (1966) this morning

I rate it 10/10 just for this amazing bit of deducing.....

Gordon: Could be any one of them, but which one? or which ones?
Batman: Pretty fishy what happened to me on that ladder.
Gordon: You mean, where there's a fish, there could be a Penguin?.
Robin: But wait! It happened at sea, See? "C" for Catwoman!
Batman: Yet... an exploding shark was pulling my leg!
Gordon: The Joker!
O'Hara: all adds up to a sinister riddle.... Riddle-er. Riddler?
Gordon: Oh, A thought strikes me. So dreadful I scarcely dare give it utterance.
Batman: The four of them. Their forces combined...
Robin: Holy nightmare!

This film is up near the top of my best ever films atm although a second viewing is needed.

That’s pretty high paradise indeed. Might be worth a watch.

That said, I do find most superhero films a bit predictable. Why watchmen is so good in the genre.

Good. You don’t deserve to watch it

The marvel movies all kind of blend into one for me. All seem to have similar cookie cutter plots of big battle, bit of sharp tongue dialogue, establish that theres a bad guy who needs to be stopped (honestly, THIS bad guy is the really big bad one, this is the one that'lol destroy everything) bit of a battle, all looks lost, good guys pull together and win.

I'll likely watch it some saturday night in 6 months when wifefrom is asleep on the sofa.

Summed up every superhero film and the exact issue with them- which is why watchmen is better than all of them.

I think manfrom- you need a Grange Hill movie
