Darkest Hour - 9/10.

Throughly enjoyed that. Different to the normal stuff I watch

Gary Oldman Was superb

Want to watch that but after seeing hacksaw ridge and dunkirk, all these movies seem a cop out, like we know how it all panned out

Black Panther - 8/10

Excellent in a very subtle way for me.

The depiction of Wakanda and the way it blends hi-tech and African tribal culture is brilliantly done. I always enjoy Andy Serkis and Martin Freeman, although it bugs me that Freeman has to put on an American accent for his character, there's literally no need and his character would work just as well if he was a Brit. And the blend of humour and serious works for the most part really well, there are some brilliant punchlines in this film.

But of course, if you don't like Marvel there's no way you're going to like this, as has been demonstrated in this thread already.

Having no shakespear knowledge I had to read an analysis of the movie while watching it but nonetheless it was pretty entertaining with some excellent performances.
