At lunch at work the other week someone was doing it non stop so I got up and passed him a paper towel as a hint, and the ungrateful ape looked at me like I had 2 heads, as if to say "what, you want me to actually blow my nose?"

Bobby are you sitting next to me on the train or something. I can feel the bloke next to me getting irritated by my sniffing but I’ve run out of tissues.

Give us a break.

Personally find people blowing their noses much more annoying than sniffing.

People don't carry handkerchiefs anymore, that is the problem.

But they don't constantly blow do they, unlike the sniffers, it's like I'm just sat staring at them waiting for the next snort, drives me mad

That doesn't surprise me to be honest

Tbh my manager in my previous job would blow his nose out right in front of everyone in the office. He would make this horrible noise whilst he went through a few tissues. Not once did he think, I'll go do it in the toilets or at least try to make less noise.

That's not an offensive thing though unlike sniffing which is needless, it's as bad as people who don't cover their mouths when the cough everywhere
