Tbh saw Llorente set up the first goal nicely. Llorente and Sissoko joint assist
----------------------------------------------------------------------
His job is to score.
How many does he have now?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes he is a striker, he should score more. But he did well for the first goal. You really aren’t happy about us going through are you? Accept the fact that we got through with rotation. A streak of games against United Liverpool Arsenal with Newport inbetween. Came off perfectly. You’ve been proved wrong.

What are you so angry about ffs??
I suspect it’s because I care more about us winning Trophys more than you.
When rotation wins us some Silverware illl give credit where it’s due, until then, it’s pointless to me.
And when I’m proved wrong. You’ll be the first to know.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I’m not angry. I’m just happy that Poch rotated the squad while we are in a busy and crucial period of the season. And it paid off. And guess what? We can still win the fa Cup. But we also have Eriksen Kane and Dele fresh for an important game on Saturday. Well done Poch, good management.
What's the point of a 25 man squad if you don't rotate? Weird that people still question the concept of rotation.

Sizz I 100% would choose the FA Cup over top 4. All day everyday 8 times on Sunday. 8 times
That doesn’t me we can’t do both and we should aim for both. If we were playing any premier league side tonight, even championship then I’d say yes - go full strength and then take players off if we’re winning comfortably.
Reality is we’re home against Newport and so there’s an opportunity to play an understrengthed team but stillfilled with international players. 5 of those make up what I’d say are our first XI when all fit but didn’t start vs Liverpool but this was an opportunity to field then before arsenal at the weekend.
Those not regular may be needed during this “business end of the season”. Vorm for example - if Hugo gets injured between now and the end of the season then it’s clearly better to have Vorm with at least some match sharpness.
Wanyama. Winks. Toby. Rose. Lamela. All coming back from injuries and needing match sharpness. They’ll be called upon this season. We’ll need them.
I know you can see this. You’re not stupid. It seems that it’s literally Llorente you didn’t want in the starting line up. Plenty would agree with you on that point. But equally - he’s a World Cup winning striker so there’s a player in there somewhere. Didn’t get on the score sheet again tonight but he could’ve and he may have ended up being a quality option for us in matches ahead.
There would’ve been a match where harry kane started and you would’ve grumbled about that as he’s not part of the first team. You’ve got to give these guys chances when opportunities like tonight come up.

I don't see any problem with what Poch did tonight we won the game and we appear to have no injuries. Yes it would have been nice to have scored a few more but whether you win by 1 or 10 you simply go through to the next round.

Erikeern and Dele played. Which is what I wanted.
Would’ve played Kane for Llorente and that’s about it.
Not sure why you’re getting your knickers in a twist,
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Knickers in a twist? I’m just glad Poch rotated key players, because it paid off and we are through. You’re the one still moaning because we weren’t 4-0 in 25 minutes.
Just back from Wembly, and that was dire. Sure Spurs won, but seriously play that team against anything other than a division 1 or 2 team, and they would get knocked out. They only looked any good when Eriksen and Ali came on.
Llorente and Sissoko, how bad we're they against a team in the bottom sphere of English football, they were nothing short of a disgrace.
Anyway on to Arsenal now. Expect nothing less than a win, seeing as most of the First XI had a rest. No excuses now.

Weird post.
Bar first 10 mins we was well on top playing some lovely football mainly between Lamela, Son & Winks.
Problem is was we didn’t get the goals. We score the 3 easy chances we missed and you’d be creaming I’m your pants.
Although I wouldn’t start Llorente because as I’ve been saying since day 1 he’s rubbish.
Rotation cost Spurs an extra game and a replay this evening. This game should have been totally unnecessary, and the whole squad could have had a week off, prior to the Arsenal game.
Rochdale could mean a couple of games as well, if this team plays.
Can never understand why teams want unnecessary extra games, when they have the ammunition, just choose not to play them.

Tonight, for me tho was the perfect line up and to a certain extent the team to pick was fairly obvious what with the timing of players returning.
Room for improvement from Poch in the cups for sure but I’ll forgive him almost anything tbh. He’s magic you know. We’re close. Had a final and semi final under him whilst qualifying for the CL.
