Lost was originally only meant to be 3 seasons, it might have worked if it had only been that, but the huge success of season 1 led to ABC miliking loads of extra seasons out of it and ruined it.

To be fair South Park really picked up the season before last.
Changing it to a season story format really helped it

Nope made it way worse. Having one story in every episode was funny. Dragging it out over a season was not. I finally got around to watching the season where Garrison ran for president. Considering I was completely stoned and find anything funny in that condition and barely laughed shows how shiiiit it was

I get that there are more ways to watch the PL now and MOTD isn't the draw what it used to be, however for the masses myself included still love watching MOTD when their team wins!
Probs prefer watching in in the morning in bed now however

-2 and half men when Charlie sheen left
-friends a good few season before it did
-simpsons, watched every episode about 5x up to series 15 or so but after that it just gt boring
-south park, love this but last few series have really dragged, especially the trump-Clinton mock storyline
-citizen khan, how did this manage to get a 2nd series commissioned? never mind 5! and its on uk gold now running alongside only fools and horses! the mind boggles
only one that doesn't bore me atm is American dad

I quite like tuning into it. granted I can get much more comprehensive highlights packages online, but for my timezone, sitting down at 5.30pm on a Saturday to watch it is quite nice.

Won't count soaps as they're ongoing.
Lost didn't need 120+ episodes, probably should've been 3 series or something.
GOT has been dragged out a bit, and seemingly starting to be 'rushed' to the point that people get from one end of the world to the other by foot or boat in 1 episode, compared to the start.
Walking Dead has been w@nk since about 3rd series.
Simpsons, new episodes just aren't funny at all.
Family guy still probably just as funny, but it's been the same for too long so the jokes have either already been done or just have no shock value.
South Park is still really clever imo, although I've not seen the newest series.
Big Bang theory I always thought was rubbish, so can't comment on that but it seems to be going on for ages.
Talent shows & reality TV competitions are probably the worst for being dragged out, no one even cares about the winners any more so what's the point.
