Vintage TV is brilliant, especially "Needle Time" when Neil McCormick interviews a different pop/rock star every episode

also in terms of series we now no longer need to wait a week to watch an episode of something in some cases.

Netflix goes there you go theres the full season watch it at your leisure, watch it back as many times as you want.

As I said choice and availabilty have left us spoiled

Keep It Country (Sky Channel 389) is great as well.
Me and Petey often watch it together, discussing the great music programs on offer.

John Taylor was a lovely looking bloke I have to say. Wonderful throbbing bass guitar, hmmmmmm, we should start a thread on male hunks we'd gladly bend over for!!

I'm similar age and aside from MotD barely use the virgin box, if I want to watch anything Youtube is my port of call. If you branch out enough and subscribe to various channels then you're never short of something to watch.

TV can kiss my swingers.

TV is no longer traditional TV and Will be pretty much phased out before long I would assume.

Youtube, Netlfix, Amazon etc are all just different variations of traditional TV

what sort of things did you use to watch before having all these ?

BBC4 is about the only channel I watch now if watching the TV live, other than sports channels.

Some really interesting stuff on it.. often about topics I'd never normally have any interest in.

Ancient Aliens - love it.
They discuss ancient buildings, technology and sites and ask how could these things have been built thousands of years ago - yet present day humans would still find it difficult to achieve.

The Punisher is a great series too, as is Happy Valley.

You remember the old series where an old bloke in a hut would talk about canals and horses n' stuff?

The ominous sound track TV shows like ancient aliens and the like have are brilliant. Like somehow you are finding out that everything you knew was an illusion. No man could have drilled a perfectly circular hole, it was clearly an ancient laser beam

The dimensions and build of the great pyramid are scary.
It contains Pi, Phi and the ratio of the Earth's circumference.
This is the country which Pythagoras visited and left with great knowledge.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Did he discover a secret knowledge from ancient writings. Do the pyramids have a frequency that leads to enlightenment. No way human's could have built them, no way. And i'll prove it by interviewing an 85 year old retired "nasa pilot".
