just our luck.

We seem to have a lot of players with questionmarks over their heads when it comes to their injury records. Luckily ones decided hes off next season and Sturridge looks gone too. Buts theres still the likes of Hendo and Matip and although i'd keep both can only be looked at as squad players next season we can't be relying on them to stay fit again. Theres a few others too Clyne Ings? Not sure Ings will ever challenge bobby so he should prob go in search of first team. Will Origi be sold or given another chance? If Bobby gets injured we look light up top relying on Igns and a young Solanke would not do.

I agree, we have a lot of injury prone players

Can, Gomez, Lallana, Matip and Klavan all in a couple of weeks. Anymore and we are in trouble

If Matip wasn't injured he could do a job at defensive mid seeing as he played there plenty of times for Schalke.

We played a deep 2 with Can & Wij. I'm sure Milner & Wij could do a job as well.

We have dismissed that he’s out for the season at this stage anyway.

Well firstly he can't be recalled.

Secondly he's only ever played further forward for us and does so for Cardiff also. Is

Thirdly is he suited to a role which requires him to be safe in possession? The last time I read a report on his match performance he had like 58% pass success.

He hasn't exactly been tearing it up at Championship level. So yeah, Milner and Wij with Ox ahead of them. Of course assuming Salah isn't crocked also.

That's fair, I'm not expecting him to be a like-for-like swap but if we're down to bare-bones then I thought Grujic would be a better shout than looking at the youth players.

Didn't realise he couldn't be recalled though, that ends it I guess.
