So you’ve got us buying 7 players this summer? Really don’t think we need that much, would only say we needed 4 based on the assumption that Aldereiweld and Rose were to leave:

I wouldn't get rid of Dembele. Yes he's 30 but I think he's got 2 or 3 good years in him. Bale is 29 and way more injury prone! I'm seriously disappointed with Toby A but I'll get over it. Jan Vertonghen has seen to that. Consummate professional. Zaha would fit in nicely.

Honestly, I think some Spurs supporters think the club is a fantasy football enterprise, the way every season they think half a dozen will be shipped out and half a dozen world beaters will come in.

Sure the team does need strengthening, no two ways the current team just doesn`t have it in them to get over the line when it matters. But just a couple at most, and they would have to be absolute top notch, who could come in claim a first team place from the off.

Best thing about this for Levy is it's relatively cost-neutral.

With the other top 6 sides getting stronger it isn't acceptable regressing that far

Totally agree with this. There is such thing as too much emphasis on developing youth.

it depends on who we sell, if we dont lose anyone we would only need 1 or 2, max 3. However it seems pretty obvious that toby and rose are gone, so 2 replacements for them are not adding to the squad but just replacing. Dembele is 50 50, again if he goes he needs replacing. So that's 3 slgnings without adding to the squad. so on top of the 3 replacements we would need to bring in, i think we would need 2 possibly 3 extra as well.

Would be absolutely gutted if Dembele goes. Same for toby but I see that’s inevitable. Slowly ripping the spine of our team out after removing our pace from the flanks. We’re going backwards except this time it feels like we’re taking two steps back.

I know I bang on about it a lot, but I just don’t have confidence in the club that they’ll adequately replace those who end up leaving. I hope to be proven wrong but I’d expect us to try some lazy purge on the relegated clubs as opposed to doing some proper scouting and finding players who can make a difference as opposed to make up the numbers.

Not sure Zaha is the answer. Spurs have plenty of wide men. Zaha looks like a player being a big fish in a small pond to me.

Milinkovic-Savic and Immobile form Lazio are names being touted.

When you have Son and Moura you shouldn't be looking to spend stupid money on other wingers. Especially as in the first XI only one of them will start
