Sounds like Ayer is pushing for his cut of the Suicide Squad to be released. Netflix should pick that up as I bet it's far better than the theatrical cut.

Yeah I'd love to see the Ayer Cut and Ayer has been pushing for it for years. He's adamant that his movie is completely different to the crap that was released in cinemas and I believe him. Especially with WB's record of tampering.

Would be very cool if Netflix brought the Snyderverse over there and presumably they'd be able to incorporate the Ayer Cut in that deal with it essentially being part of the Snyderverse.

Exactly. Problem is that WB are never going to release the Ayer Cut after the Snyder Cut showed up the Whedon cinema cut for what it was. It's only going to make them look even worse and at a time when public faith in WB's DC is so low they have no reason to do something that's going to make it even lower.

The only hope for the Ayer Cut ever seeing the light of day is if Netflix miraculously get the rights but just getting the Snyderverse rights alone is a long shot at this stage.

I’m currently watching Bass Reeves. And it’s already better than Ahsoka, although I’ve only watched 3 eps, but it’s well done I think.
